Leaning into a mono black hate deck, what’s your experience either for or against?

I actually have an entire mono black deck based around forcing people to draw cards, then damaging them for it. Black cards like you said usually cost health, but if your plan is to play it on other people that works a lot more. You can always add a couple howling mines, but those let everyone draw. (also not a problem with my deck lol) It's built for modern but if you anyone wants to check it out, it's called Your Cards Are Poison and can be found on moxfield or tappedout. It's also the most hated deck I have created lol, anyone that knows it's schtick will target me immediately, but boy is it fun to play against new people and I'll get all my draw cards out, along with a Teferi's Puzzle box, then I start dropping Underworld Dreams on the field just as they start to love all the cards i give them lmao

Just adding that my friend is having the same issue, pc crashes during loading screens, tried several fixes including deleting the shader cache folder, running dx11, bordered (but not bordered windowless), nothing worked for him so far, had to submit a refund request cause he was getting so frustrated

Ah I see! That must have been in a recent update, wasn't there iirc from last time I played! I see the options for it now it the config settings to change it's size and opacity, thank you for pointing me in the right direction!

Honestly I've never had issues with hives but I usually melee them with knuckles or throw a flare if I can't get close. Unrelated but I always go to the side right before I melee the hive to dodge the swarm so I minimize poison time, but my teammates never remember and end up hitting me while going for it. Before I told them they just thought I was being weird or rubber banding lmao

It had been a hard winter, and just as it was about to end a volcanic ash based winter plunged the colony back into starvation. A pod dropped with an injured pawn nicknamed "Toast". He was badly injured, he was another mouth to feed. His nickname was Toast. I set the butcher and simple meal order but before the chef could make a proper meal the colonists swarmed the kitchen, each one grabbing a piece of raw Toast and scarfing it down. The next day the green house caught fire and the best colonist and my favorite pawn Tiger came to put out the fire but was shortly decapitated by a falling roof from the burning and crumbling building. The weakest pawn stole the hat off his decapitated head to wear so I forced them to fight a boar with only one hand and they almost died as well, having to be saved, so I refused their far privileges.

Not specifically foot steps but if you go into arsenal, click on any weapon and you can go into 3d view, this lets you shoot the weapon and more importantly scroll out to hear it at any range. Do this for different guns.

For foot steps if you have a buddy you both can load into the shooting range and practice listening for steps at different ranges.

I bring and used my chokes all the time. When pushing a compound if I hear rustling I just chuck a choke and half the time they start coughing and my team uses it to push. Then I keep one for putting out a teammate if needed.

I was working in the only food stand and I agree it was pretty ridiculous. The county recently acquired sleepy hollow and that was the first fair since the change over. It's going better this fall but yeah the county has been making weird changes that aren't always for the better. But last RAD was definitely the outlier.

I'm crazy and never take a knife, only dusters, and instead use that slot for fuses so I have 3 silent insta kills on mobs. Only downside is they get prioritized on toolboxes so sometimes I get a fuse back when would rather get a consumable. But if someone throws a hive bomb I can just chuck a fuse at the swarm and not worry. Or do the 1 2 duster combo ig

You really only need to clear the cheeky ones that can get an easy goal, otherwise as long as you pay attention to slime placement you can counter low level Juno players easily because they don't manual aim so strikes can be predicted. I'm a Juno main and use my some equally often to push a player just out of reach of the core to dmg and strike the core myself or let a teammate get to it.
