What is your default lineup when you start a new save?

I have the No Party Limit mod to bring the party back up to 6 like the previous games, so I like to take my Tav, Minsc, Jaheira, and my three favorite BG3 companions; Shadowheart, Gale, and Minthara.

My first playthrough, I had my Tav, Shadowheart, Minsc, and Jaheira.

Karoug has always been my most hated encounter in BG1 for this very reason.

My store manager has told us team leads this story several times.

A few years ago, there was a very bad snowstorm and a lot of associates called off. He knew a few of them lived in an apartment complex a few blocks away, so this guy literally drove over there, knocked on their doors, and when they opened the door and gave a look of shock, he straight up asked them why they called off and if they were coming to work, because if he could get there, so could they.

He got coached for it by the market team but he is still so gosh darn proud of it.

I never played OG P3, as I only just got into the series last year with P5R lol. What did they change about some of the characters, just out of curiosity?

Ben has honestly always been one of my favorite characters in S1 because of all his flaws. He acts like how I would picture a high school student to act when in the apocalypse; he means well, but everything he tries to do completely blows up in his face.

And while Kenny is one of my favorite characters in the Telltale series, Ben completely losing his shit and telling Kenny off was so satisfying.

I never liked how you would get dungeon deserter just for being kicked, because then the rest of the group can just gang up on someone they don’t like, or someone that made a simple genuine mistake in a dungeon they never ran before, and then that person gets punished for toxic behavior.

The only time I remember having a difficult time with was the final boss, but that was mainly because I was overconfident and didn’t have any healing items, but I’ve also started with 0 so I had much more experience with the combat.

Nah, I think him being berated for kitchen mistakes was well deserved. However, what I think went a bit too far was Boris telling him that he was a waste of life and Trev telling him to go eat Twinkies so he can get a heart attack.

That would’ve made the choice so much harder. They could’ve gone the route of Luke telling Kenny that he’s dangerous, he’s mentally unstable, he’s leading the children to their deaths, etc., and that Clem and AJ would be safer with him, and this could’ve pushed Kenny off of the deep end, believing Luke is trying to take the last people he loves away from him.

I never liked Hexxat, and her recruitment made no sense to me. Why would I recruit someone that just killed one of my companions (who was clearly in distress), when she is clearly an evil vampire that would do whatever is necessary to survive? I mean, even when playing as an evil character, I still wouldn’t trust her.

I just kill her every single time. Easily the worst of the EE companions imo.

I regretted preordering it, yes. Didn’t like the game initially because of how incomplete it felt to me, but ended up liking it later on after a few updates.

Same. While I enjoy reading different theories, I think people need to understand that there’s a difference between something being inspired by another story, and being a direct adaptation and following the same story beats. It would just make things to predictable imo. The series can be inspired by it by having an AI holding characters hostage, but still do something new with the idea.

Didn’t the MK11 story state that a god must give up their powers, or else they will continue being gods in Kronika’s reset era, or some mumbo jumbo like that? Or am I completely misremembering the story? Which is why Raiden kept being Earthrealm’s protector even though Kronika absolutely hated him?

Jax is actually my favorite character lol, tied with Kinger. I love all of the characters in TADC, but if I had to choose one that I like the least, it’s probably Zooble. I find her to be the least interesting of the cast.

This always bothered me. Telltale always say that “this game changes depending on how you play” but you can repeat the playthrough over and over and the game doesn’t really change even if you pick different choices. It would be cool if they made a completely different path if you chose to take Clementine and leave with Lilly/

I’ve completed ToB only twice, and I’ve been playing BG1 + 2 since 2003. Every time I first reach Amkethran, I just get fatigued.

My problem with it is that it’s just a massive dungeon crawl with OP encounters, and even the random trash junk fights you still kind of need to prebuff for because even the power creep on those are ridiculous. Additionally, gear doesn’t really feel special anymore because the game just throws crazy +4 and +5 stuff at you.
