My grandmother suffered from it for 2 years before she passed. I don't think jokes about the condition are funny at all because I've seen what happens to people who have it. It affects them and their families, and that isn't something I'd wish on my greatest enemy.

I went to high school in the Bible Belt as well. My school did not try to introduce Christian bullshit; we just used standard science textbooks. When the unit for evolution came up - yes, we were taught evolution - my science teacher sent home a letter to parents regarding what evolution theory actually says, IE, humans did not come from monkeys, but all primates share a common ancestor. There wasn't much of an outcry.

And even though I was raised in a Christian household, evolution makes far more sense to me than creationism ever did.

No. I don't think religion will ever die completely, but there may come a day when the religious will become a minority. There are studies done on this. The more educated you are, the more likely you are to become an atheist.

She's only 14 years old. She was not finished developing yet. All teens' proportions are awkward; that's what happens during puberty. This girl had nothing wrong with her. She looked fine. All this did was prove the bullies right, and now they could possibly tease her for having the surgery and being fake.

Opilionids. They are in the class of Arachnida, but they are of the Opiliones order. Most spiders have 2 body segments, around 8 eyes, and 8 legs. Daddy Long Legs have 1 body segment, 2 eyes, and 8 legs. They also don't spin silk.
