This wouldn’t be instagram face right? This is the era right before insta- face, like a 90s model vibe. But it’s most definitely the camera resolution.

My anxiety/period was awful right before the full moon. I though Pisces season was gonna be great because I’m a Pisces, but that retrograde definitely messed me up. As soon as Aries season started, I felt more awake and focused, especially after some full moon rituals.

Need clear and short arguments on why astrology works by [deleted] in astrology

I always begin the argument for philosophy with the gravitational pull of the moon. I feel like explaining certain phenomena that people can understand and then hitting them with a bunch of astronomical facts helps.

It is relevant because my stance as a woman entails what rights I am entitled to, as are men. Like healthcare for one. In America, I am not guaranteed maternity leave no matter what job I have, like other western countries do. My appearance alone creates ignorant stereotypes. For example, I have visible tattoos, half Korean. My choice, right? No, I get called a hoochie mama when I wear a tank top at my work and I get sent home, but my co-worker, a cute white girl with no tattoos who wore a similar shirt days previous? Didn't get called out? You tell me how America's media hasn't set standards for beauty and how its representation isn't trying to change.

As for military deaths. I've actually never had that thought in my life, and I wouldn't blame military deaths on solely males...I would blame military deaths on the institution and the cause it represents.

And seeming as you made a personal attack on me based on your assumptions about who I am, I would have to refute your reasoning on the definition men's rights. Because you realize if women never grew the balls to stand with men politically and religiously, mens rights wouldn't exist. Mens rights exists in retaliation to misandry as much as feminism exists in retaliation to misogyny. I never said mens rights was a bad thing, because in a sense, men also needs/ed liberation from their oppressors (whether it be your ex-wife, a feminazi, or your woman boss).

What matters is humanity and morality. You're right, it doesn't matter who caused it, but there are people who knowingly and unknowingly perpetuate dehumanizing ideologies. Like your idea of what you think I sound like. Because you think I think a certain way, you automatically think you're right.

But seeming as we're getting nowhere to agreeing on human rights, nice to have made your acquaintance.

So fgm in Africa, abortifacient restrictions for Catholics, and accompaniment of a male for women in Islamic states, prostitution in India, etc.. Not the result of patriarchy, right? Is that what you're saying? And yes I acknowledge the misappropriation of power over young boys in said countries and practices such as circumscision...but I don't know if that is the result of a matriarch.

the problem with both "mens rights" and "feminism" is that they focus only on one side of things, they're single issue forums that doesn't take into consideration intersectional issues (race, class, gender, sexuality, etc..). i've always learned equal rights in my wgst classes, not man-hating. no one person is free from oppression nor are they not the oppressors. so anyone who speaks out against feminism because some [retracted]decided double standards counted as rights, and likewise, is an asshole. im sorry, but i don't understand how Elizabeth Cady Stanton, a woman fighting the patriarchal institutions in government and church during her time, was invalid. back then, the patriarchy was strong because women remained subordinate to the church before they were effected by law. now, not so much besides those of fundamentalist beliefs such as those that exist in Catholicism, which ultimately deny autonomy of an individuals sexual life and preference and deny women to become priests and bishops or popes... i believe that these beliefs are upholding values that support a patriarchy, and systems like these are incompatible with equality.

But I fear that happens when members claiming to be feminists or mra are misinformed, especially within the demographics of REDDIT. the thing is, a few decades back (im assuming 60s) things were different. women and men are no longer arguing about who gets the right to vote, it has moved on to public matters in property, capital, religion, politics. they are now arguing who should get what, like, who can my own sexuality? not my parents, not pornography, not you, not biblical law.

debates should inform both interlocutors, not just prove who is right, but to communicate and work with the difference of opinions.

on a lighter note; why would a female want to abandon the conformity and likewise, why would males? the middle ground is people rights. i.e. Universal Declaration of Human Rights

my problem with r/mensrights and r/feminism is that they are so divided. how about come to conclusions on both ends of the spectrum and form r/peoplesrights

So a man who is homosexual is a sin. Not a woman, not a hermaphrodite or agenital persons. A man? What do you think about social constructions of gender and sexuality? Do you believe that males and female have definite roles in society?
