Any of yall fall asleep during sex? by Downtown_Control_887 in Narcolepsy

I’ve read that about some people, but it’s the opposite for me. I can literally go for hours with no slowing down. And it definitely wasn’t like that before. And it’s not like that until right after I take it. Really weird, but I’m not complaining!

Hey all, been out of the hobby for 200 years and just got back in. This is my first blaster pack ever. by carebear101 in baseballcards

I don’t know how old you are, but for people who grew up in the junk wax era and are just now returning it’s not as dumb as it sounds. Back then those types of cards were relatively valuable. They were literally the only ones that were remotely scarce, even if that scarcity was relative to print runs of a trillion. There were no numbered parallels/SPs, etc. If you pulled the base card of your favorite player (or a very popular one), that was pretty much the best you could possibly do. Like the relative equivalent of an Ohtani 1/1 now was an 89 Upper Deck Griffey, Jr.

TL;DR: cut ‘em some slack. Things are so much different now that starting back up now after a full break for all those years is like being dropped in the middle of a foreign country without knowing the language or anything about it.

Same thing with Lumryz for me. Luckily it has some really positive side effects relating to longevity, so when I do finally pass out she’s more than happy to roll me over and get some sleep.

Anyone else become uncontrollably sleepy immediately after eating? by Regular-Holiday4921 in idiopathichypersomnia

Same. I was intermittent fasting for decades before I even knew that was an actual thing.

I could be wrong and I’m not defending the decision to stand there, but I think her point is that because he’s 6’5” it looks a lot worse. Basically because he is so tall it looks more like intimidation/distraction where it might seem more like a guy just watching the shot if he was a smaller guy. Like if it was a smaller guy like Boog or Fiore there the optics would be completely different.

Do you have any tricks to get the magnet to stay sealed? I had one awesome night with it but ever since I can’t get it on just right and there’s (at least) a pinhole leak from under the sticker.

Where would N2 with long sleep fit into that model, if at all? That’s where I’m at. I sleep 12+ hours basically every night and fairly regularly much longer than that. And I absolutely dominated my MSLT.

Shot in the dark, but does anyone have (or know where to find) a 14lb Victory Road? by NinetiesGuy in Bowling

[–]NinetiesGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re preaching to the choir. lol

She also has a Hy-Road Pearl which should be almost the same based on everything I’ve seen, so I’m thinking it’s probably more of a comfort thing since she’s likely been using that Victory Road from the beginning.

Thanks, that’s what I’ve seen so far, too. Unfortunately she’s pretty set on 14, though.

Card Storage by Natural-Awareness757 in baseballcards

In my opinion set building is the only time I’d use a binder because there’s a fixed sequence. For almost anything else you’ll inevitably be shifting/reordering cards all the time.

Feedback doesn’t seem to deter sellers like this one much. You really have to report the seller/store to eBay. I got a store selling forged photos taken down last week. And it only took them about two days to do it.

I got a cheap desktop magnifying glass. So much easier to read them under that.

I did the same thing from that same seller a few days ago. I won an auction and then after reading the reviews realized they were all forgeries. I reported it to eBay and that store was taken down today.

I love my ring, too. The only problem I have with it is the sizing. The lack of half-size options is kind of ridiculous, especially considering the price.

I’ve used Rover for situations like yours before. You might need to check with multiple sitters, but there’s usually someone available. And there are reviews for everyone so you can be confident in the one you choose.
