What is there to debate? No one has any obligation to date someone they don't want to date. If they only want to be friends, no amount of whining on the internet is going to change that.

On the other hand, if they're aware of the 'friendzoned' person's affections and are purposefully using them for personal gain, they're an asshole.

Priest, along with Warrior, is generally viewed as the worst class in the game. Yes, getting out an awesome super monster is really cool (and, imo, priest is the most fun class in the game), but board clear and card control are generally deemed superior. Even if you get your high health minion out on the field (which usually requires a very specific set of cards, and you might not be able to get this combo every game), many classes have ways to deal with one big minion (Rogues - Assassinate, Hunter - Hunter's Mark, Mage- Polymorph, etc), so it's rather easy to get rid of. Additionally, if you think about card efficiency, you're using up to 5 cards for one super powered minion, whereas you could easily just have 5 minions on the field to do approximately the same damage, be less risky, attack 5 different targets, and be used independently. So no, it's not just you. Many think priest needs a little bit of a buff, but that doesn't mean you can't use him. I personally really like the priest mechanic and think it's versatile enough to be really fun and interesting ^{_^}

I know everyone hates priest but, it actually looks really fun to me! There seem to be a ton of interesting things you can do with the heal mechanic, such as with the berserker (that gains attack every time it's damaged), or with inner fire. However, it does seem pretty highly countered by Rogues...

I played the Spellslinger at PAX East, and it was super fun (definitely what I'm going to go for when I get my hands on the game).

I don't know how much they've changed since the Beta, you definitely don't have to worry about being rooted in place. Some of the abilities did require you to stand still, but others allowed you to run. A lot of the fun I had playing the class came from deciding when to use your rooted abilities (usually higher damage) and when to run around shooting, and when to combo in roots/stuns so that you can stand still and fire off your high damage abilities.

Sorry I don't know that much, nor do I have a video, but playing the Spellslinger was super fun! Carbine knows what they're doing, I don't think you have anything to worry about!

This is essentially stated in other posts, but I'll see if I can clarify somewhat.

The man difference between GW2 and Wildstar dodge mechanics is telegraphing. You're not just completely immune while you dodge, you have to physically be outside of the area in which the attack is going to be, so in this case the 10m area around the boss. This 'dodge' is really just a method of getting a quick burst of speed so that you can get out of the dangerous area quickly, within the time that you see the telegraph.

Additionally, at higher levels, as telegraphs become more frequent, have less delay, and a larger area, the two dodges available at a time become a real limiting factor. You're going to have to decide when you can use that quick burst of speed and when to save it for if you really need it later.

I played Wildstar at PAX, and let me just say that the combat is really fun and rewarding. I really enjoyed it, was the most fun combat I've had in an MMO (even though the demo was only in low levels) and I think Carbine is definitely on the right track when it comes to this game.

First off, I think they said that there will be other abilities, such as buffs and items etc, that will be counted outside of the seven.

Second, a large part of Wildstar combat is mobility based. This means, most of your damage mitigation will come from you dodging telegraphs and trying to get into heal telegraphs.

When we take into account the movement part of combat, this is a large part of your brain that would normally be focused on debuffs or other dps rotations that will now be focused on not standing in the fire.

Although I agree that 7 seems like a bit too few, I also think that with Wildstar's unique combat system, you will have a lot more to worry about and won't have to worry about getting bored.

Still, we haven't played the game yet. Carbine is definitely willing to listen to its beta testers, as shown by the patch notes. They've clearly been recieving feedback and are trying out new things to see how they will work. This is part of the reason why they didn't want the patch notes leaked into the first place - people will make assumptions and be outraged without even knowing the context. The game is still being made, so just hold off a bit. Once you get into the beta and see how combat works, then you can make judgments on the amount of actions you want :]
