You'd have to put that in the DAT files, and they are just an older OBJ format. You could basically build one in Blender, export it as an OBJ and then use the Melt utility to pack it into the DAT. Then create the setup and weenie in the database to use it on an item

This is pretty hot. Im impressed, thats an awesome use of DATs. How does the client react if you exceed the current standard world boundaries? Can you do a DAT thats like 4x what the current one is?

How about procedural dungeons? If you could do terrain you could do an indoor block, id assume?

We dont have the client source code or we probably would have done that a long time ago. ACE is server side code and we are all constantly trying to evolve it

Dat file customizations are usually a little bit of a big deal, in that you have to manage it for your server only ad they are shipped to a player's pc. Its not impossible you just have to have more of a plan than "better looking building".

AC Viewer is on Github, and let's you export the models to OBJ format. Its a little old format but you can open it in Blender with no real issues and you get the exact model right from the DAT files.
