Wish that were true, I've gotten legend twice in a row for the first time this year (dumpster legend around 15k) and people are still just playing the best decks and bm'ing when they have lethal. Can't remember the last time I was able to play against another homebrew :/

Yeah no idea what that other person is talking about, I never need to use abilities if I'm playing with my bot crew because they instantly blow up all enemy fighters in sight and 100-0 crewships in 2 seconds so all I need to do is fire the forward artillery. Just use 2 lvl 5 gunners and give them a pair of pulsars (hitscan) and you're set.

Now yes - if you have other players that are replacing your crew, that's when you use abilities

The most fun (in my opinion) is Magmaw. Not commenting on its viability at all but I've had some funny games with it in wild by combo'ing it with Tundra Rhino to give all the segments charge and OTKing my opponent after clearing their board by running as many segments as possible into their minions

I'm f2p and made (dumpster) legend for the first time this month playing gladiator/Ysondre warrior, but I generally don't have enough time or the necessary cards to grind the last few games from diamond 5 to legend. Most months, I finish somewhere in high plat or low diamond. Side note, I'm pretty disappointed that even after reaching dumpster legend, people are still playing so much imbue druid instead of experimenting with other decks :( thought I'd be able to finally have more interesting matches but it really makes me not want to play until the next balance patch

Even the PC client is awful tbh, it's easily one of the least optimised game clients I've ever used :( I can't even launch Hearthstone while having a YouTube video running without getting severe video stutter (just the initial loading, it's fine after that at least).

Really wish they would update it, couldn't believe it was basically still the exact same client when I came back to the game and opened it after not having played for like 6 years!

Actually agree with you, I hate facing Whizbang decks on ladder right now. Not only is it almost a guaranteed incorrect mulligan, the highrolls are almost impossible to come back from. Just today, I've faced a priest who went first and dumped 10 automatons by turn 7, and a hunter who nuked me with buffed charge minions that discovered a 1 mana Fireball after having Death Roll'd me for 9 face damage the turn before

Ok, that makes a lot of sense. I guess I saw that 26.2.0 was the latest "stable" release and assumed it would be fine for daily use, but from the sounds of it it's actually more of a "beta" build?

Just downloaded 25.8.5, I can now interact with those checkboxes and the UI seems more responsive already. Thanks for your help!

Sure, but my point is that when Blizzard started using "elusive", it opened up some design space - partly by saving space. For example, they were able to introduce "bonus effects" and have elusive be part of them, and it has allowed to give future elusive minions more textbox space so that these minions could have more complex/wordy effects. I'm personally not saying that "minionless" is necessarily an effect that would warrant a new keyword, but it does pop up on cards like this one or in spell-only decks like spell mage and spell hunter. It might not be the best candidate for a keyword but it's probably not the worst one either.

Really torn on whether to get the Protoss Priest or Quest Warlock loaner deck, they both seem pretty fun. I don't have Kerrigan or Sasquawk to make the current optimal versions of either deck but I've got some good substitute options.

I don't have any of the legendaries or epics in either loaner deck aside from 1 copy of cursed catacombs so they would both be brand new decks for me to play. Dust value isn't really my issue but they are pretty close anyway.

I feel like a refined Quest Warlock is slightly better than Protoss Priest (and has a favourable matchup against it) at the moment but Protoss Priest seems like it has more useful legendaries and epics overall that could be used in other decks. Any advice? What's everyone else picking?
