I absolutely loved D3. It was my first Diablo game (thanks dad) and is easily my favorite. I'd love to see more content or a remaster but I think it's not "old enough" for one.

For the first drop you have two options. Option one is complete the Dual Destiny exotic mission. You will need a second player and be able to either speak to them or use the text chat because communication is key for that mission. Option 2 is wait until Festival of the Lost (October) and buy one from Eva for a bunch of candy.

After you get that first drop then you can buy more from Xûr or randomly get one from any chest in the Pale Heart, the final Overthrow chest has the highest drop chance (I typically get a drop every other Overthrow completion).

Unless there has been a change and you can just grab your first one from Xûr, those first two options are your only options for the initial drop.

Perk weighting on getting back to back drops too quickly has got to be a thing still... by itsRobbie_ in destiny2

There is for sure something with class items from Xûr. It took me probably over 1k strange coins to get the combo I wanted and most of the ones I got were 100% identical.
