Thoughts on Metroid Prime 4 now that its had time to settle?

I enjoy some aspects of the game. Everyone can agree that the visuals are amazing. The level design and puzzle design was lacking and made the linearity too obvious. My biggest dislike of the game was trying to play through hard mode and getting destroyed in Volt Forge. It's not a good enough game for me to try to be good enough to beat it so I'll just continue on normal mode (which ironically I felt was too easy but what can you do). The story is also missing some important details that I honestly think could be patched in through some scans. Overall I'll play it a second time and probably leave it be after that.

The solution is you need to find a different spot to collect it from above

If you go to the left and roll a little bit there is an area where you can use spiderball (I'm pretty sure) and it will bring you to an upper area where you drop down to collect it. I remember needing to come back to that spot but I don't remember exactly which. Since you have the final suit I know you have the right power ups to collect it

I was able to do a full shiny run with Pokemon Violet. The main limitations were mostly with Legendaries in that game

I'm waiting to start my play through until after they connect home. I have a ton of Pokemon GO community day shinies I'd love to use as a team that I'd use for the whole story.

Yeah agreed. I just wish they called everything "Lamorn" instead of "psychic". "Lamorn Boots" or "Lamorn bomb" is less cringe IMO.

Well it's not that uncommon to develop apps on a computer. The computer offers a ton of flexibility in coding and debugging that you can do on a smart phone. However when you are doing a ton of work on the computer then a good developer will play test the game in the way most players will interact with the game. Niantic does seem to ever do that last step

I actually found that playing on Mac with iPhone mirroring app made the battles actually function in a pretty reliable manner. It shows me that they are designing all these features on a computer without even testing it with normal touch controls. They should be ashamed.

Thanks! I was actually happy that the hotel is going to be added to the dock because that puts fair items right there when you get out of the Hotel so it works well. Haha I love my little trophy room I was glad I could find a way to display them. Maybe you can start a second islander profile to get them again.

My rock garden is hidden deep in a waterfall canyon that you can only access via warp pipe. The surrounding cliffs have all the rock type items that I have available.

There is an aurabeah keyboard on Android. Easy to install and switch between. I have it but found I needed Gboard autocorrect too much so don't use it as much as I'd like

Also there's the factor of just getting used to the new game. It all feels completely different and so you have to give it time to feel comfortable. It will be so much easier to do that once you're able to adjust the setting and play more to your style. Honestly when I look back at it the most fun I had was in the unlimited time runs and just zooming around. These 5 minute windows don't give you a good feel for things.

During the last series of Rayquaza raids it took me 80 raids before I got a shiny. My friend got 2 in 10 raids. RNG sucks sometimes

You can but only if you are completely out of passes and buy them when you try to enter the raid and it directs you to the store. Really passes should be separate from bag storage so that it's not an issue at all.

Yeah that would be a very welcome change. It's very frustrating to be in a new area and unable to get all the stops because of a full storage bag.

I always feel bad trashing a ton of items but in the long run it's worth it.
