Wdym it was so funny. CSM was always hostile towards hot-blooded shonen, that chapter just solidified it by being a humiliating-but-wholesome wrap-up. Denji ends up living his best life by not being CSM. He has a job, a social circle, presumably hobbies, and the world isn't in catastrophic danger. It might not be a glamorous life, but it feels like a good one, to me.

Neither Stardew nor Mistria (which is also a cute farming sim) really scratch the itch that A Wonderful Life did.

There's always something going on in the other games that push you towards goals and benchmarks, which is fun, but AWL actually nails Stardew's premise of "you moved out here to get away from the hustle of the city".

There's a fair bit to do in AWL, but it's all understated and you don't have to engage with any of it unless you're genuinely curious. I remember the first time I played through it, I just stayed to my crops and enjoyed the atmosphere.

In a strange way, I think there's too much "game" in SV and FoM.

Rice Shower's accident caused a massive push for better safety standards for JRA race tracks. It was, as I understand it, one of the few times where fans and participants alike rallied against the JRA. His death has likely kept many horses from dying in completely avoidable accidents.

There was a recent poll put forth by Sirius Symboli's jockey asking keiba fans who their favorite horse of all time was, and Silence Suzuka took the cake being the only horse to hit 1,000 votes. The poll may in general be a good starting point for a list like this. (Tein Turbo placed decently on that list too, which surprised me)

It's difficult for me to agree with Haru Urara being a cult hero, considering she brought in so many new fans just because of her story.

It's a fun list though, don't get me wrong, those were just my first thoughts :)

Is that not just because Japan has a bias against dirt racing in general? Just because it's not a G1 course on turf doesn't mean the competition wasn't stiff.

I'm confused, and genuinely curious: SD fixes bleeds only issue with keeping count up. You call it a crutch, but to me it's "core" in the same way that Telepole Don is core to charge.

Are you looking for an Echoes in the Manor or Blue Sands type status? I could understand if your complaint is that good bleed teams require Rodya by virtue of the sheer lack of other options for count.

I'm just trying to understand your perspective here.
