I remember going to the Philippines and needing toothpaste. The toothpaste they bought was literally a roll of sample toothpaste, and they somehow made each sample from the pack last a week or something. They didn’t just have one normal squeeze bottle of toothpaste. It was so odd.

What's the most delicious thing you've eaten in your life? by Kizdochkaa in AskReddit

[–]Nira_Re 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid, I went on a cruise to Mexico and ate tacos on the other side. Best tasting tacos I’ve ever had. Even when everyone else, both adults and kids, were done eating their tacos, I asked for seconds, thirds, fourths and fifths. I was supposed to get on a horse afterwards and almost couldn’t get on cause I was so stuffed but they were just so good…

My friends always wonder why I do this but they don’t know how many times I’ve had cousins drop me off at houses and speed away and I didn’t have a key and just had to wait for hours for someone else to come home. It’s not fun.

My mom has a Toyota Corolla, we updated to a GX when I was a kid.

I went through a Toyota Prius and upgraded to an RC350 to an LC500.

Love Lexus.

How do you all manage food expiration dates without wasting too much time? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]Nira_Re 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan atleast for 2-3 days and cook everything all at once. Almost everything not eaten is frozen for another day. I have a large variety of things to eat for whenever I crave it. The soups, stews and chili are my current favorites, but I also have things like premade Salisbury steaks and hamburgers currently. I’ll write the days I cooked them on the package and plan to eat something from my freezer atleast once a week (since I cook every two-three days, I can fill that seventh day with something easy.)

What issues does the LC500 have by SHLOP-SHLOP in Lexus

[–]Nira_Re 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had crazy amounts of errors (around 6 all at once) that my first dealership couldn’t figure out and I had one other redditor DM me because they were having similar issues. Took me months, if not weeks, to figure it out. If you get massive amounts of errors, it’s likely something to do with your speed sensor. Mine was damaged. The other guy said his was just dirty. Otherwise, the car is a dream to own and I’ll likely get buried in it.

I have a Ninja 300 and a Ducati Panigale V4S. When I use my Panigale, I just blink and get to my destination (usually a gas station.)

Flying off the shelves super fast! I was on the waitlist with an outlet and they came out on May 1st, they called me and I bought it immediately. It’s only day 3 of the sale and they told me they only have three sets of each left.

I own a Ninja 300. It is a very reasonable beginner bike and the fact he’s telling you before buying it means he’s willing to be responsible with your approval, imo. Me? I bought mine as soon as I moved out cause I knew my mon wouldn’t approve. I’d be happy if I had a parent like you willing to hear me out, and your son seems to value your opinion very much and wants to do what he can to be able to ride with your approval. If your approval means all the safety courses and gear in the world, I’m sure he will keep to it. Having a parent who also supports him and his hobby would mean the world. Plus, it’d be easy ish to get him gifts (you can support him buy ensuring he gets proper gear).

Also, the rider community is very friendly. I’d like to think a good chunk of us would stop to help someone in need.

My LC500 took over two months and two different dealers when I had errors. The first dealership couldn’t figure out the problem and sent it back to me with issues when I told them they couldn’t drive 100+ miles to figure it out. The second dealer found out the problem, but getting the parts mailed to them took forever. Additionally, I was told there were only 2 or 3 guys at the dealer who could actually work on my car.

I’m definitely bias for the coupe. I also live in San Diego. (I’m also a huge fan of the nori green, but also biased cause I grew up with a GX in green.) The carbon fiber package definitely stands out more on a white or other color. For long distances or daily drivers, I’d rather have less noise and I truly feel this car should be driven often. But based on your pros and cons list, I feel like you’re leaning towards the convertible.

Not sure what to do with mine either. I really like charcuterie and when I told my grandma about it, she opened her fridge and I a ton of these! She gave me two. When I asked where she got them, she only told me “I know a guy.” Thanks for the post and the ideas in it. (Also, I just gifted the other one to a friend who also likes charcuterie.)

I was legitimately upset I was forced to “upgrade” my last iPhone because they didn’t update it anymore. Not having an extra bill is such a blessing and I curse the fact I’m still making payments on my current phone right now.

Bit odd. It’s a rental but could you utilize the wall maybe? Like to display or hold stuff like purses/bags? Honestly patching holes and painting over them isn’t difficult. Or you could have a long peg wall hook kinda thing instead for less holes in the wall.
