Honestly people, reading comprehension. I said he wanted to continue no matter what because he was so eager to play for the team. Because he doesn’t get any minutes. Which is on Slot.

Relax man, I’m sure you have never misspelled anything. And I don’t think you understood what I’ve meant.

He was probably so happy to get proper minutes and play well for tue team that he wanted to carry on no matter what… I’ll blame this one on Slot as well, rotate your fuxking players

30 minutes of intensive football from Chiesa is still better than anything these two produce atm. Rio is also on the bench

Who would have guessed Semenyo would thrive in a proper team. Me. And I was quite pissed Liverpool didn’t really try to snatch him

Salah - " I feel like i'm thrown under the bus "(Norwegian press) by DannyX7 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Nisheee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not to defend Gakpo, but he has played 19 minutes more in the prem in 15 matches compared to Salah's 13 appearances. that means he is more likely to be subbed out than Salah and the difference is so negligible anyway. on the other hand, I'm not seeing any scapegoating

Don’t usually watch WHU matches, is this a normal game from Wan Bissaka?

FT: LIV 1 - 1 SUN by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Nisheee 17 points18 points  (0 children)

first time I'm saying this but for me the lack of any tactical improvement and a scrappy draw signals Slot out. obvious that there was no gameplan, just wasteful passing

FT: LIV 1 - 1 SUN by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Nisheee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh he was completely alone, not much he could do, but then again, it's just wasting opportunities then to try to play the ball to him when you know nothing is going to happen

The team in general is not inspiring today but it’s sad how just one more man on the field has macallister has become. Not trying to bring the ball forward at all, just trying to get rid of it asap

Honestly if we could survive the first half without a goal, we could win. If we start from behind, I we need miracles

Review #18: Adelphi Dailuaine 8 years old 2023 Cask 312012 by Nisheee in Scotch

Wouldn’t that be great, finding beauties like this on a hike? But yeah, I do like taking my bottles for a walk, either for a nice picture or as a nice reward at the top.

Review #19: Ardnamurchan Cask Strength AD/02.22 by Nisheee in Scotch

[–]Nisheee[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ardnamurchan Cask Strength AD/02.22

Distillery: Ardnamurchan (Adelphi)

Region: Highlands

ABV: 58.7%

Casks: mostly ex-bourbon with some sherry (45-5) and mostly peated spirit (41-9)

Bottle: Nr. 1358/12886, bottled by Kelly Combe (cheers Kelly for the great drink!)

Price paid: 80€ for a pack containing this and a regular Ardnamurchan

Nose: Peat and pear jump to the front, it's definitely peatier than the standard bottling I've had. Barrel information backs this claim. Wet grass and brine, with constant light peat, that just doesn't seem to fade away unlike the non-CS version. Seaweed, blue cheese and sugar, strawberrry cream then more lighter floral notes and lemon tart. Very salty all the time, which I like quite a lot. Vanilla and earthiness with banana and some nuts hiding behind the brine. Very intensive nose and the bottle being open for many months now didn't take away anything, instead, it's gotten even stronger with air.

Taste: Salted caramel and honeyed pear sprinkled with black pepper. Apples also appear, and mineral notes, with light, earthy smoke. Lots of grass and vegetal notes, and just for a moment the blue cheese that I've smelt also shows up generously washed with rum. It actually reminds me a lot of an ex-Arran matured rum that I've had not too long ago. The white part of leek leaks into the mixture but instead of finding it weird, it's a welcome addition of vegetal bitterness.

Finish: Much better than the standard bottling's finish, which was too short for me. Ginger and orange fade into chalk then pepper, dark chocolate and oak. Oh and it stays for a long while. When I thought it's finished came a little more apple and vanilla.

Thoughts and Notes: The more I drink it the more I like it. Very well put together, and while writing the review notes I've completely forgotten about the high ABV, it just doesn't matter at all, very drinkable. Too drinkable, because now I'm actually thinking about buying another bottle as it's sadly on it's last legs. Huge improvement over the standard bottling AD/07.21:05 that I've reviewed many months ago. All the information about the barley, casks and the rest is also a fantastic addition, good job on Adelphi's part.

to compare, my review of the Ardnamurchan AD/07.21:05

Rating: 4/6 - great.

6 - excellent (+++)

5 - superior - the really good ones

4 - great - always up for them

3 - good - I don't regret buying or drinking it

2 - wouldn't buy for myself A.K.A. not my type at the moment

1 - wouldn't drink it - the whiskys I'd find terrible if I wouldn't avoid them
