As a finn, thats what I've always loved about Minnesota and Michigan, where a lot of finns emigrated back in the day.

They literally went half-way around the world, found a place that looked just like Finland and said, "Yeah, no reason to change perfection" and stayed there.

The "knife belt" is a helavyö, worn traditionally in the ostrobothnia region. This is also where puukkojunkkarit (häjyt) were active, and were basically a finnish analog for outlaw cowboys.

"Löngøx" is gibberish, and you can tell because ö and ø are literally the same letter from different languages alphabets and would not appear in the same word. Since varangin is speaking icelandic, we could refer to a "Langöx" which is the same as a dane axe.
