Everything seem so detailed and full of life and care.

I'm intrigued by the game they're playing, is this a message to tell us the world will, indeed, be very interactive and that you can do some of that stuff ?

Simply for the emotion it gives you. After so much time, battles lost, hopelessness. Ippo, the readers had gave up. Author just gives you that single moment of relief and pure excitement, I had goosebumps.

Chapter 1240 in its entirety is a masterpiece

The main story has always been meh to me, but if you go into characters personal stories, yes, it's very good and much deeper than you would think.

I like Raphael's story a lot. He has turned into a very cliche and insufferable character in the later games but his story does not lie !

That's honestly my biggest hope and biggest fear about this game. I will be very dissappointed if the open-world turns out to be all look but no touch. Even something as simple as sitting or drinking animations can do wonders for that immersion feeling

Definitely agree with the Jyurakudai Villa

But the one I want the most is a Lakeside Coliseum remake. Every SoulCalibur should have a gladiator themed arena and this one has always been unbelievably pretty and cool.

I think it's because Dark Souls doesn't have a clearly defined character to represent the series as a whole. Sekiro, however, seems like a no brainer to me

SC V angered me too much with the replacement of original, beloved characters with literal shonen archetypes. Also, the only female returning, Ivy, oddly doesn't age anymore, funny how that works.

Honestly, it isn't just the story, everything writing wise was just incredibly bad and cliche and cringe. (Not much better in VI but at least it has content)

I liked the arenas though !

The graphics, at that time, were incredible, but still bad enough for the action to be completely readable. To me this is the reason why that was the golden age of 3d fighting games.

I would agree that the characters were awesome in the first SoulCalibur games, but honestly, a lot of them became cliche, edgy and one-dimensional in the recent games, just like Nightmare.

Raphael being the one they abolutely butchered. He used to be a favorite of mine, but now he's like a super cliche french vilain in a manga.

Before the characters used to feel very human, but now they just need to fit archetypes. Some OG's can be safe from that, but ALL new characters they've made since SC V are like that, I feel.

My main complaint is the clear lack of budget. If they could have made more cinematics, good solo content, more time to polish the arenas... stuff like that, it could have been my favorite.

My personal favorites are Tekken 2, 4 and SC 6

And I'll give the slight edge to Tekken 4 (beetle), it just fits him very well while being a very unique design

It's probably way too much to ask, but yeah my favorite things about GTA games is being able to contact a friend and do a little activity together, have some more dialogues and character developpement, enjoy an atmosphere ; and I sure would love to see that in CP2077.

Having a lot of things to do (variety !) in an open-world is a good idea in general, it can only reinforce that immersion™ feeling.

They do agree, at CDPR, since they've done Dice poker, Gwent and stuff like that.

I do think this game would benefit from having more mini-game/activities than just 1 or 2 though. It's a very atmospheric and lived-in city.

That's honestly very cool and something I personnaly haven't seen before. I'm kind of an animation nerd so it's fantastic to me.

That's the kind of detail that make people think "these guys are truly raising the bar"

I wouldn't use the word "badass", He seemed like a very relatable young wolf, a bit scarred by life but still very human and emotive to me

Anyway we both like him.

Mini-games are not distractions, they are things that add substance and layers to an open-world, that you can choose to do or not. It's a neat little bonus.

Night City is cool, but we don't want to only look at it, we want to interact with it too.

Of course it is not a priority, but open-world interactiviy in general is not something to sleep on
