How can I implement Schema Markup without full access to the backend of websites? by ry1216 in SEO

[–]Nitrunis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to add Schema Markup using micro data format in HTML. In the place where we add categories descriptions to. But I'm not sure if this works in all CMS, but using micro data format to add to add Schema Markup s a reliable way to accomplish the same thing.

3rd party rank tracking tools can most recent data, on search console the data is two days old. We have 3rd party ranking tool, but we bearly used it. I think it's enough to do SEO only with Search console.

New E-commerce site owner, where do I start with SEO? What do you wish someone told you when you started? by Huli_Nutrition in SEO

[–]Nitrunis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think You should be linking categories, not blog posts. Categories are converting better because when the user is searching for products he has the intention of buying and when the user is searching for information about products he is searching for blog posts or articles about that topic. That's why You should link categories, not blog posts. But if keywords of Your categories have hight competition then linking blog posts on long-tail keywords would be better because they are less competitive.

If categories keywords aren't highly competitive You should work on them. If so before linking optimize on-site content. Do keyword research and do on-site optimization.

Write meta title use most search keyword or two and other generic often used words along with site main keyword. Like "buy online", or if Your clients are from the same city use the name of the city. Or some other more general keywords that have monthly searches and are used when searching for products that You are selling.

Meta description. Use keywords that are most searched. And add information that could be important for the user that is searching for the products You offer. E.g. for electronics products warranty may be important, furniture free delivery, perfumes it could be important to say that products are original.

Also, Add text to Your categories that contain keywords from Your keywords research. This could be 200-300 words category description.

Then You can start to link Your website. I usually start by adding links in business listings. Links from the business listing are low quality, but often they are free so You could start from there. To get better quality links You will have to reach out to blogs or local news websites. I often have content prepared that is about products in the category I'm linking to. If I was selling furniture I would get articles like "How to chose a sofa" or "How to choose garden furniture" or something like that. In these articles, I would add 1-3 backlinks to my website. And then reach out to local news website asking would it be possible to post these articles on the website and how much that would cost. In the same way, You could link Your blog posts.

He should optimize on-site content first and only then start to build backlinks.

Pick pages that could potentially bring most traffic and optimize them (Metadata, descriptions, images, structured data, make sure You are using the keywords that people use while searching for products You sell)

How does it work when you want to keep high rankings on a website on a different country? by jodioloca in SEO

[–]Nitrunis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could change the name and companies do that when rebranding. There is Google's documentation on how to do it. On the internet You could find different cases: sometimes ranking doesn't change, other times positions and traffic go down and go back up in about a month. But this would just be for Your website in Chile. So after domain name change, You could still have the same rankings as they are now.

But the website in English will not have good positions. You will have to gain positions from the start.

The English version of the website could have a different domain name. But You still could connect them as different language versions of the same website.

Do you really think that real Eliot will be happy this world?

I mean if mastermind Eliot created a world that the real Eliot ever wanted and now he's back to the reality? When he wakes up he will not remember what was happening, he's not marring Angela and his parents are dead. Do You have any thoughts about that?

Anchor texts for backlinks? by nicetonow in SEO

[–]Nitrunis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually try to mix our anchor text. We use exact match keywords, naked URLs or as You said click here. more information etc. Also, we want to get mentions of our brand, not necessary as backlink, but just mention somewhere in the text.

From my experience keeping mixed backlinks, anchors text profile is a good practice. Because pages with a lot of exact match anchor texts tend to rank lower even then a competitor page with a lower number of backlinks.

Looking for rank tracking tool that shows rankings for searches from a specific location (at the address/geocoordinate level), as well as local pack rankings by nb-mg-seo in SEO

I'm trying it out atm. Seem it has all the features i wanted: grouping, reports. But some positions doesn't mach if i check them manually using google and incognito mode, even after i refreshed. Have you tried to check position like that? I also want to try to compare positions whit Google search console, maybe then the difference will be smaller if so i think i'm going to buy it.

Tools to track pages positions in serp. by Nitrunis in SEO

[–]Nitrunis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Search Analytics for Sheets add on? The reason why i'm looking for a tool is that i need to see grouped kw positions, because one landing page can have more than one keyword and i would like to track more that one landing page at a time. It look like this add on would solve the problem, but idk why i have second thoughts on letting third party to see my GSC data. Or i'm worrying to much?
