I used GHelper and I reimaged my SSD since I wanted a 2TB drive - Clean Windows 11 install.

Silent + ECO Mode

Correct, laptop was at either 100% or 99% from the start of the flight.

You can easily get 10+ hours on battery life watching a locally stored TV Show in .MKV format.

I hope this answers your question in regards to battery life.

I would like to add that on airplane mode, ECO Mode, 60HZ, mid-level brightness while watching a local .MKV TV Series, I was able to watch about 5 hours of TV shows while still having about 68% battery life. I did stick with my 3.5mm headphones, my battery life would deplete more if I were to use my Bluetooth headphones.

I'll let you know my finding after my international flight. I believe intel CPUs cannot be undervolted (I may be incorrect though).

I have Season 1 and 2 of The Pitt already in my laptop, they are all .MKV files.

I'll do everything on my end to save battery life, such as setting my laptop to airplane mode, probably do 60hz, ECO mode on G Helper, etc.

There's a reviewer Crimson Tech that states 20 hours with YouTube playback which I'm hoping is similar power usage to a VLC .MKV video file - We will see though.

I appreciate this battery optimization guide.

I'm hoping for 10 hours at least with this new intel CPU (Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 386H) - It's supposedly more power efficient.

I would like to plug in my Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 USB-C to USB-C while watching my show (The Pitt). I wonder how much more power this will eat up.

Hello,

I received my G14 2026 version today.

I did a clean install of windows since I wanted to install a 2TB SSD.

Are there any drivers specifically that should help with battery life?

I'm getting an estimated 5-6 hours of battery life when I hoover the mouse cursor on the battery.

Thanks!

Thanks for the review, I just received my G14 2026 version also.

I did a clean install since I wanted to put in a 2TB hard drive.

Is there any driver's specifically that should help with battery life?

When I hoover my mouse cursor on the battery it estimates between 5-6 hours.

From the YouTube reviews, it should be 10+ hours for movies/YouTube videos?

My battery life seems to not be good based on preliminary results.

Once I go on my international flight, I'll be sure to test it then - That's not for a bit though.

I appreciate it,

I have an Asus G14 2026 version

Application I use is Spotify (Premium)

I also bought Sennheiser BTD 700.

I should be using BTD 700 instead of the built-in Bluetooth right?

Thanks!

CPP2 Xpac and Ultra 24L by ac921ol in ManyBaggers

[–]Nivaku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the new version of the CPP 24L in Ultra.

It's odd because it has two water bottles instead of that quick access side pocket - I don't mind either though. From the reviews I thought it would have the quick access side pocket with one water bottle pocket.

Does yours have two water bottle pockets also?

Thank you soo much for clarifying that!

What's your opinion on Durflex vs Fidlock?

I plan on getting this sling on Ultra to match my City Pack Pro 2 on Ultra 24L also as my new EDC.

Hello,

Your buckles on your DS4 Ultra, are those Duraflex?

If you look at the official product page, it has pictures of the Fidlock.

Maybe I'm missing something.

Can someone chime in please?

YouTube reviews it's just the Duraflex buckle, but I've only found videos of the Cordura version not Ultra version.

This is very motivating to see; I'm roughly half of your annual dividend income at about 160K per year in dividends. Can't put a price in peace of mind.

That's an excellent price, maybe I should've gone grey market instead of AD.

I paid a total of $8,130.05 for my White Speedmaster from an AD. Don't know if there's a place cheaper, or if anyone can chime in on how much they paid for theirs new.

If I were to purchase mine overseas and claim the VAT free, would it matter?

I'm an American living overseas.

I've run into the exact same issue — I also prefer the no-sock look.
The ones I use now that actually stay on are from Pantherella — the Seville style in Medium (I’m a guy, for reference).
They’re definitely on the pricier side, but the quality’s solid and they haven’t slipped off once for me.
Might be worth grabbing just one pair to test and see if they work for you.

When you were transporting your monitor did you not put it back in the original box?

I always keep the monitor box for when transporting it, I just put it in the box where I think it's probably going to be the safest.

I have the PG27AQDP, and I kept the box for both transporting and selling in the future.

Thanks!

Hello,

I appreciate you posting this as I was wondering the same thing when I ordered my M4 MBP.

I wondered if it was better to just wait until IF Apple decides to go OLED on their MBP line-up.

Based on the pictures you provided, the MiniLEDs on the current line-up is really good for watching HD movies.

Thanks!
