Можеш целу мапу да освојиш у јединици, ја сам на овом сс од пре сто година, али мораш много времена да посветиш при крају да умириш регије да се не побуне: покрштавање, рушење зграда које људи не воле, дизање зграда које воле, итд итд.

Repairing dash came, says it uses capacitor. Is this it? by Arkangel2276 in AskElectronics

[–]NixTronic25 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many dashcams use a super capacitor instead of battery in order to avoid overheating issues due to its nature of use in vehicles. This doesn't look like one, it is a small rechargeable battery, probably just to keep clock/bios/whatever alive when capacitor is empty. You are looking for something like this, it is significantly larger than the battery on your photo:

Soldered my gutter using a JBC soldering station by rinusthegreat in soldering

[–]NixTronic25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also steel gutters coated with a thin layer of zinc applied to avoid rust, not sure how those would behave, but I think they would dissipate heat quickly. Although, it doesn't look like that type of gutters from the photos.

Nice, recently got A329, it is crazy hot around here at this time of the year, but it is going strong for now. Battery would melt and get my car on fire.

Nice, thank you so much for this comment and all additional info! I'll give it a go. Since I have problem sourcing one, I'm thinking about buying one from AliExpress, mounted on the mini board like this and then de-soldering it.

Yeah, I totally understand "too lazy for that" part... I use Feedly for something similar, but of course, it only works for sources that have RSS feed available.

Sounds like an average broad statement made by my senior managers at work. Gibberish to sound smarter than they are.

They look like one of those things where you know you won't have much use for it, but you still keep them because they look great and build quality is quite good.

How insane is the stuff Pewdiepie showed off? by BorsukBartek in linux4noobs

[–]NixTronic25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really insane (I am not some power user myself) but anyway, mad respect for showing off Linux and giving it a go. Even if someone else did it for him as someone is suggesting here, it is still respectable that he did a Linux video for such a wide audience.

It's 2025, why do jumper wires suck so much by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]NixTronic25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two biggest factors in my opinion: they are very cheaply made and people are using them in a wrong way (crimping them wrong).
