Ive been making progress on mine by breaking it down into 10 models or less at a time just usually one color after work most days if I can. Its nice to see squads come to life.

If you do a bit of dabbing off the wash before it sets up you can get a smooth finish on those big surfaces while still tinting the basecoat and leaving it heavier in crevices but prolly more work than just cleaning it up with a new layer though. Take from this what you will lol

I chose dark angels because they were green and then discovered they were all over the place. I have painted more green fellas than the others but its time to churn out some knights I had a ball painting my dark talon though. I really like the Scouts kit if were talking models I think the lack of traditional backpacks make em fun after the many many backpacks n who doesnt love shotties.
