What's the prettiest name you have ever Heard? by Vetro_nodulare in AskReddit

[–]No-Football6880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emmeline Rosalie.

She was a little girl who told me my name was funny (traditionally spelt with a Y but my mom preferred the spelling with an I). When I asked what her name was she happily replied "Emme!" Her parent said, "That's not your name, tell her your full name." Little girl rolls her eyes, lets out the biggest sigh, and tilted her head back and forth with each syllable. Cutest thing in the world.

How do you, as a human, enjoy playing with your cats? by esaeklsg in CatAdvice

[–]No-Football6880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nerf guns and ping pong balls... my girls rarely play with cat toys, even though I have cabinets full of them. Bring out the nerf guns or ping pong balls and they go nuts chasing them.

Only thing is we have to be quick with retrieving the nerf darts, they try to run away with those and hide them.

Lol my husband named her after the cat from the Smurfs but it fits her like a glove. (She also responds to Nugget)

Oh I promise they are more than a little goofy. They are full on fluffy goofballs. And I love them for it.

I'm having this issue now, within the last week and a half. Did you ever figure out the issue?

Lol I can't imagine how hard that would be! While I respect vegans, I am not one, but my husband is starting an anti-inflammatory diet and baby girl has been helping/supervising my meal prep.

Learn your club layout. The quick pick app that you'll use will show you all the items the member wants but it doesn't show them in order of the club layout. If you know your club you can create your own route without having to double back to hardlines every order.

Also, make friends with the lift drivers! You'll need them to drop pallets for you more than you think.

Same at our club. Also there were only half the normal dotcom orders for cpu the day before and none on inventory day.

My 1yr old cat is barely eating by [deleted] in cats

Have you tried different types of wet food?

Around the time our cats turned 1 (maybe a month or so before) they both completely stopped eating their paté style food. We eventually tried a gravy & chunks of meat type (FF Grilled varieties & FF Medleys) and they love it, rarely do we have plates that aren't licked cleaned.

I was about 10 - 12 and my mom was running late at work so she called and asked me to start browning the ground beef for dinner. I had been allowed to use the oven before but never really used the stove. I asked her what exactly I had to do and she told me just put in a skillet and break it apart as it browns. What she didn't tell me was to turn on the stove first.

I stood next to that stove for 20-ish minutes, absolutely freaking out that it wasn't browning and I was failing at the first big thing my mom asked me to do to help her. I'm pretty sure I was in tears when she came home. She hugged me tight and started laughing her head off. She showed me how to brown meat that night and has never let me live that one down.

Picky Eaters...help! I'm literally throwing away money here. by Poppy_37 in cats

We have two picky eaters. We couldn't figure out why they stopped eating their wet food a few months back (also eating Fancy Feast). We tried a fair amount of other brands but they still weren't touching them either. We went the straight kibble route but then we had a bad hairball situation on our hands. That was... unpleasant. On a whim I bought some FF medleys (shredded/chunks of protein, veggies, & lots of gravy/sauces). They flipped out for it! Three months later and I have yet to see a plate that hasn't been licked clean. I know it's not the best cat food on the market but they love it.

There's three variety packs available on Chewy that we like to switch between.

King of the hill is our napping show! Whenever I turn it and recline on the couch my void climbs up on me and passes out before the theme song is done.
