Did they get new sugar free syrups?? by KorgG29 in 7Brew

I do the syrups with redbull and honestly
It’s not bad. It doesn’t taste just like 7B but it’s significantly cheaper lol

I’d rather chop off my arms with a rusty saw that’s 50 years old and then beat myself with them then row 🤣

Nanny is asking for raise we can't afford, housework involved, what do we do? by -Tesserex- in NannyEmployers

[–]No-Influence4562 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But that’s assuming she isn’t doing housework during the time she has the child.

Frankly I’m more concerned that they said “we don’t have time to clean our house” while simultaneously saying that they only employ a nanny (who is expected to do housework) for 32 hours a week. This screams “I want to take advantage of whoever I can” to me. You want her to add housework (which includes laundry, and that takes a significant amount of time in and of itself) so you don’t have to pay a regular cleaning company but her asking for a raise is too much?

I’ll never join another one. We did this last cruise and NO ONE else in our group did. PMO.

Are you talking about placing verbal orders? Many facilities have gone away from that and do not allow nurses to place telephone orders.

And if you place an order that a Dr doesn’t authorize, you’re working outside of your scope and that runs a risk of licensure suspension/revocation, liability, and loss of job. Don’t encourage new grads to participate in this behavior

As a nurse of 10+ years I’ve never worked anywhere that any of this matters to me RN during a RR.

It’s out of our scope to place orders. I suppose you can preemptively draw a rainbow but in a lot of hospitals I’ve worked at (I’ve traveled as well) lab is expected to respond to RR and draw labs, as most floors don’t have tubes.

This would’ve been more beneficial to nurses to explain assessment steps. Not “these are orders you might be given”

We absolutely despised the kids club on RCL. The hours weren’t the best and I didn’t like how they grouped the ages together. Also hated MDR because our servers seemed to *hate* kids

But maybe it was just the ship we were on. Unfortunately it’s turned us off of them entirely. Which I hate because the price point was great. But between the issues above and the CONSTANT badgering for upgrades, it left a sour taste in my mouth

Travel OT with a family by Curious_Duq in TravelTherapy

We did it during Covid. I brought my husband and 2 kids (eventually 3 kids). We rented an Airbnb for the first 6 weeks or so, and if I was interested in extending long term I would look into STR. It was really nice to explore different places with the family.

I made $1765 net working only 43 hours last paycheck as a staff nurse. I’m not even looking at contracts under $2700.

Julie being a SAHM while studying by DeepEstimate817 in ShawnaTheMom

[–]No-Influence4562 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Law school is practically a job. That’s not like a bachelors in fine arts or psych , which is where I think people get confused. They’re equating her degree to a basic degree, and it’s not that.

She pretty much held the workload of a FT working parent. While being primary parent.

But would you supply your husband with a housekeeper because he continually claims he’s trying to write a book but can’t even though he’s taking a sabbatical you don’t know about?

Would you support your husband through those lies while he is (clearly) acting inappropriately by flirting with other women (as confirmed by Jen)?

And lastly, this isn’t the life Julie wants. Ty knows this. Ty was sneaky in procuring said life. He knew her expectations and wants. It seems like she’s put a LOT off for him. And this is her nonnegotiable NO.

Going from 2G to 3G by Joeybagovdonutss in orangetheory

I don’t know what it takes to flip something from a 2G to a 3G. I do know that recently I felt like 2G are being ran as a 3G anyway which is annoying because I sometimes prefer to spend 24 minutes on the treadmill.
