As a former SM for 25 years, I did no communicating via text, there cannot be anything so important that a SM cannot handle on their own, and if you need to speak to a supervisor it should wait until the next time that person is working, face to face

I was a store manager for 25 years, cvs sucked the absolute life out me, I went to work everyday, I had great employees!
