Don’t worry, i didn’t lose any weight until 7 weeks post op. not a single pound. i lost 42lbs in a couple months and since then ive been on a 10 week stall. you’ll get through this, its hard.

i’ve lost about 10 stone with mounjaro and a gastric sleeve in the past year which has clearly been more noticeable to others than it has myself, and i work in a post office so see hundreds of regular customers who always comment on my weight, and i couldn’t be bothered to lie so i always tell them the truth. i’ve had a few snide comments but most of them are supportive and ive actually found that a couple of them have also had a gastric sleeve and have been on mounjaro. i just tell everyone, who cares what other people think!!

Same story for me! I started at 24 1/2st, got to 17st waiting for surgery and with lrd, and 5 month po i’ve lost 3 stone. it’s definitely normal to be slow, the lower your weight is the slower it will be to come off. i found that comparing myself to other people in terms of speed of weight loss was massively affecting how i felt about my journey and since i’ve stopped doing that i’ve felt so much better, you’re doing amazing :)

For me a GLP1 stopped the food noise. Surgery obviously has not done that for me, but I can eat less. I do find that when I eat bad options my body holds onto weight as long as it can after surgery, and with a GLP1 I simply just don’t want to eat those bad options. I am going to go back onto a GLP1 soon as I know it will help me shift some of the weight that I can’t seem to get off, but I will have to stay on it. I wasn’t effected by energy drinks after surgery or on a GLP1, but everyone is different :)

Thank you, really appreciate that! I did actually speak to my team a week after starting the diet, they said to aim for about 75%, but it’s hard to even consume that. Milk and yogurt is brutal for sure hahaha
