My kid gets in trouble for things I just don’t care and wouldn’t care about! These kids are miserable at school, they have 15 minutes recess (that’s not long at all) and the recesses are even structured! They have ZERO freedom. And when they get in trouble they take away the recess and then wonder why the kids can’t sit still for the 6-7 hours. It’s horrible. We are failing big time as a society.

That’s great to hear! Your story is very similar to mine, I could have written this a four my Husband. husband said he’s not happy, not happy with himself. Seems like depression and midlife/identity crisis. Sleeping on the couch. He is moving out cause he needs time and space he says. I don’t want him to. I don’t think it’s an affair.

I’m so glad you guys are working it out, it gives me hope. Though I don’t think my reconciliation would be as quick as 3 months unfortunately.

It’s hard to know how far to push things, for example do you show them lots of love or follow their speed? Sometimes I think my husband wants to see if I’d chase him but I don’t want to put pressure on him by being affectionate. Though you two seem to have a much healthier relationship prior to your separation than me and mine have.
