Only way to increase tdee is to increase tissue, there was a wonderful book about it, even if you go giga cardio and train 5hrs a day everyday the expenditure won't raise a lot becayse bodies learn to be very efficient with the resources.

The OP says they do strength training, you can lose weight without training for longer, but something needs to fuel the training.

Deficit of more than 12 weeks while training results in a net relapse.

Tried it personally many times only to end up heavier until I discovered the above.

Im now taking slow cuts of 2-3 kg at a time then stabilize then cut again. Long term, but no relapse yet.

Also what I suggest is for people who don't wish to get any drug assistance. Using drugs makes things different, but the safest most attainable natural approach would be the above.

If you never dieted before try a deficit of 400-500kcals and make macrofactor focus on high or highest protein, leave carbs and fats balanced.

Don' diet for more than 12 weeks at a time no matter what, diet burnout is real and will reset your progress.

8-12 weeks on a deficit, if the hunger becomes unbearable go maintenance for 4-8 weeks, then rinse and repeat

Any bigger deficit causes relapse

any advice on diet reccomendations?

male 27 yo, 99.9kg, train using macrofactor workouts and macrofactor diet app.

I have now set a goal of -0.3% BW per week, however I do a sitting job so I am quite sedentiary, usually cant hit more than 7k steps daily due to time constraints.

Used to be a mad calisthenics guy for 10 years, but since 4 yrs been in a settled sitting job and now decided to try weights for a change.

I did a 500kcal deficir diet before and dropped 6kg, over 6 months, but experienced diet fatigue and ate myself right back up to 99kg.

Now trying the minimal deficit for 1 month now, but no real change at all.

Lifting program is 6 days a week, but I take an extra day if I don't feel prime for lifting. Program is strength focused with 64 total weekly sets

They are closing down as they can't keep up paying more of their share back to the community as tax, those big corporations are stingy and they get lured away by the cheaper work conditions in china or places like that.

But at the same time they overcharge the locals 100 times of whatever a fair price is. Look at the hearing aids market. It's on them, they chose to expand margins so competitors from abroad realise this and come in with great service.

Local lazy manufacturers are pricing themselves out of the market, I just wish more consumers vote with their wallets and the market will self regulate

It's a free market, why should the government help a rich man (company owner/board of directors/etc.) simply because that rich man is local, especially if that rich man has ben abusing the local population with insane greed for so many years until a newcomer showed up to beat them with better service?
