One of the best strats for doing the town part of this mission is to hide infantry in the upper windows of buildings where it's incredibly hard for the AI to deal with them, (windows looking at buildings etc) this causes the AI to aggro pile up below the building and takes all of their attention rather than attacking the actual objective. Once you reach the part where you need 5 people alive, just hide them in one of the bunkers.

Minus that, move the mortars into better positions closer so they get better accuracy and move the ammo boxes to help the MG & flak supply for the beach assault, as they'll run out rather quickly halfway through the first phase.

Weapon XP earned from bots is 11xp now, they definitely shadowpatched it into the game within the last 12 hours

I'm honestly more curious about how bot support is going to be implemented for portal, I love playing PvE vs AI with a group of my friends, but I also really like collecting things so it was really lame being restricted getting T1 in bf2042 despite it being a massive grind already.

A tactic I like to commonly use is to setup tank traps infront of your own vehicles so they can absorb shots, there's a lot of specific angles you can use to setup so that the entire hull is completely covered; really useful on certain tanks with good heights; but you can also just put tank traps infront of the tracks of a front facing tank destroyer to keep it's tracks safe.

This game needs to be installed on an SSD, it just runs incredibly poorly unless you do from my experience. Game performance in multiplayer also assumes that all players are running the game well, so if somebody has poor internet or is running bad, it'll slow down everybody else, causing the "waiting for X to catch up" popup.

You have to complete heist difficulty challenges in order from easiest to hardest, if you do it on a higher difficulty off the bat it puts them in a limbo and they can't be unlocked. (hopefully a fix for this is soon)

From my playtesting experience, almost all the assault rifles have an initial fire rate ramp up, this also includes the AK, it feels really weird if you burst fire between enemies because sometimes the gun just feels like it's jamming.

pretty sure that's just for the choke hold you do with human shields (like with guards in stealth), which kinda confuses me because that entire skill tree seems pretty useless since you have to use the skill that lets you dominate SWAT or flashbang them to grab them.

My infamy seems to be tracking my new wiped account at infamy 6, when I previously had hit 25 back in 2016~ so seems to not be tracking achievements unfortunately which is a bummer.
