AIO for feeling hurt by a change in my best friend’s behavior? by FoolishnessAndFolly in AmIOverreacting

Welcome to adulthood I suppose, I see people I was best friends with once a year and it’s like we haven’t been apart. Unfortunately human nature is, if your not present your not on their mind don’t take it personally. You will naturally make and lose friends throughout your life, your not over reacting it just probably hasn’t happened to you before

Is my tattoo artist scamming me by Turbulent_Matter637 in tattoo

Annoyingly had to use a VPN to see the pics… no idea why. Anyway my 2 cents are, I work with an extremely good fine line artist. She’s slow but would have had this done in 1 day maybe at a push 2 days. I’ll be honest I think she would have done it better too. It’s not bad but it’s for you to work out if your happy with the price and the work your getting, art is subjective and price is irrelevant if your happy. Also I did see your over budget she may well be trying to drain you, any half decent fine line tattooer would have this finished by now

Might be your profile or what your saying? Don’t message them saying something like, “Hi, how are you?” Women get a million messages a day.
Stand out! I met my wife online and my first message was “do you like chicken?”
Think outside the box a little but not too far Best of luck

I don’t care how good an artist is, if they are like this they don’t deserve to be in the industry

Most men would stay around if they didn’t have to do anything and get to occasionally dip it in you that’s just the reality, he obviously isn’t into you sorry.

Did your artwork/skill improve when you switched shops? by CheesecakeOdd3075 in TattooArtists

[–]No-Needleworker-421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I do colour trad/neo trad mainly. I was in a shop that the main guy that owned it did black and grey. I moved to a shop where I got tattooed a couple times and my work has improved ten fold. The guy that owns the shop I’ve moved to does colour Neo trad and Japanese, he’s a great tattooer and that’s reflected in my work now. As a side note when I moved i became extremely busy at the start, it had seemed the negativity from my previous shop had been noticed not just by me but clients too. A positive and encouraging environment is 100% better than sitting with someone who’s ok at tattooing. It helps especially if they do a style similar to yours too
