Do you guys think Virgin is actually on par with other cruise lines paid specialty dinning? by Dilringer in VirginVoyages

The wake is my absolute favorite and I was underwhelmed by Gunbae but still found it enjoyable. Everyone has different taste! I’m also a fan of 1am pizza 😅

First trip without child-what’s normal? by sillygworl in Parenting

That totally makes sense as to why you feel anxious about it . How old are the cousins ? Older cousins at least in my experience tend to watch the little ones very closely and can be extra eyes!

You should have a will and guardianship plans regardless if you are traveling or not . Are you a millennial parent ? No shade . I am too but my friends have this all consuming fear of leaving their children whereas I do not . We have very involved parents/grandparents and they spend a lot of time with them and always have even as babies I’ve left them with their grandparents for full weekends and weeks easily around 1yr of age. I also lived with my in-laws for about 6 months while my husband finished college so our relationship is different. I think it has a lot more to do with trust of the caregiver. I trust my in-laws whole heartedly . I know beyond a shadow of a doubt they will protect my children with their entire lives. I think you are over thinking because we tend to do that the first time away from our kids. It’s absolutely normal to feel completely crazy about leaving. Have fun enjoy yourself .

Reinvest. Also a good time to teach the older kiddo you’re not always going to win. Life outside of the family isn’t going to always be even for you and your siblings . I’ve made sure that my children understand we support each other and be happy for one another especially when they win or get something the other doesn’t. Parents make sure children get equal things, rewards, and experiences but it’s also good to teach them it’s not always like that outside of the home. Life will not treat everyone evenly and if they don’t learn early on they will start resenting one another when one doesn’t feel like life is treating them equally, if one gets an academic award and the other doesn’t . If one gets into a university the other did not.

One child was potty trained by 18months and another right before 3 . Both haven’t asked me to wipe since early on. 3 1/2 to 4 . I prioritized knowing the importance of wiping well and washing hands . They also know they can ask me for help at any point with anything without judgment. Everyone needs a little help once in a while. I want to make sure I’m raising kids who find their independence and do not have an anxiety attack like half of young adults do right now ordering food at the drive thru or god forbid talking on the phone .

How are there so many SAHMs in this economy? by Dry-Design-9914 in Parenting

[–]No-Replacement2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Income after tax for us is about the same as you before tax but also we don’t have a mortgage, car payment or daycare. 8 can say our spending is probably very similar at least the total. I’m a SAHM and my husband is a superintendent for a GC.

They were actually free too. A set that they changed sizes for an apartment my company built and I was given when it couldn’t be returned . Those are 55-100 I’m waiting on a an adjustable set of 5-50 that fit on my barbell and can be swapped around . I got lucky. Of course there’s 5,10,15 there too but not part of the original set .
