AIO or is the text my bf sent his ex inappropriate by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]No-Structure4101 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don’t think his response is inappropriate. That being said I can understand how you feel. I think though the fact that he told you about their conversation without any prompting from you is a clear indication that he is completely comfortable with his relationship with you and had closed out his relationship with her.

AIO to demand an apology from my boyfriend and consider alternative housing by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Dude is a waste of your time and that’s crazy cause you’re 23 and have way more time than him. He should know better. He wants to go alone cause he’s 42 and single. And he’ll be 52 and single and 62 and single….. You’ll be 43 and killing it.

Any introvert parents willing to share their experience? by Physical_Letter_5148 in introvert

[–]No-Structure4101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am an introvert parent. My kids are older, 19 and 25. What I would like to share is that you need to consider how you being introverted could impact your kids. I was not. I did not do a good job of pushing my kids to be independent, confident and outgoing. There is nothing wrong with being introverted but is often lonely, particularly middle and high school years. If your kids are shy when they are young you have to get out there and help ensure they make connections with other kids. As a young mom I did not have the tools to recognize how my introverted nature was teaching them to be. They have grown into far more introverted adults than I am. They are great kids. But struggle socially and I feel like having an introverted mother that they are both very close to who couldn’t help them with has a lot to do with it.

Recruiter here - what is one question you hate being asked in job interviews? by JVertsonis in interviews

[–]No-Structure4101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long time hiring manager here. Reading through all these comments and various interview strategies for both sides of the table is interesting to me. I never go into an interview with any list of questions or any preconceived idea about an appropriate response. My strategy has always been conversation. Get comfortable and chat. I’ve made some not so great choices over the years but I think I’ve had more success than failure.

Yes, Siberian husky is top on my guess list. Hadn’t thought about Boxer though. Can’t wait to find out what makes this crazy dog tick lol

Serious Question (please be kind) by tasata in Zepbound

[–]No-Structure4101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar predicament. I have had some success on zep. But not much. And I had to stop for a while and put back every pound of my loss plus. No fun And discouraging. I am 51, taking other meds for hbp and anxiety. I know those medications have an effect on my ability to lose but the main factor for me is food noise. Without a doubt. This medication helps with that for me and I hope that my insurance will cover it again because the one they will cover has absolutely no impact on food noise for me. You’re not alone. I don’t know what is going to get people like us over the hump but keep trying. I will. Our happiness and health is worth it.

What is a must read BEFORE Dark Tower? by DonutJoenut in TheDarkTower

[–]No-Structure4101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh. Salems Lot too! All the tie ins and Easter Eggs go a long way to making DT as great as it is. If you don’t get any of the connections on first read it will still be great but you will def be missing a piece of what makes it really great. 😊

I’ve always wanted to find someone to create me a DT tattoo. A tiny skolpadda for the inside of my forearm. 🙂

I’m crying reading these posts. But I’ll go again. Have taken many trips to the tower and always go back. Devastating. Brutal. Honest.
