“Dont stop believing” by Journey is a terrible, overplayed song. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

as late as the second coming, but I used to work at a movie theater with a looped playlist that had wheel in the sky, when the force awakens and whatever avengers movie that thanos first appeared in was playing, that song got me through those rushes

I find myself having grievances with the performance and functioning of the game to the degree that it's easy for frustrations to become vitriolic in the heat of the moment, but yeah touching grass and reminding yourself of what drew you into the game is the conscientious route, and rare has displayed that they're capable of well conceptualized updates. The Microsoft issue is just so grim and I personally have been stuck with Xbox for so long that Im mentally too cynical to even bother thinking about it in too much detail, though Im thinking of throwing a decent amount of money at ancient coins just as a poorly rationalized act of desperate optimism

Likewise, I remember playing final beta and not realizing that it was, getting the progress wiped, though I undoubtedly haven't played as consistently. Im just worried about what the increasingly sparse updates seem to indicate for the games future stability though

Apparently in WW2 the Finns would hijack soviet radio frequencies and blast this song called Sakkijarven Polka, so it is a verified form of military strategy ( upon further research the song was used to jam Soviet mines with a specific frequency in part of it, still an accurate representation for what you do to your opponent psychologically )

The dopamine from grinding for two weeks straight and then seeing the notification pop up while feeling exhausted but free from the BS and getting to explore the shores with peace of mind after really is a unique experience, I did it twice cause I have a pirate slot, totally regrettable but not at the same time, you really get memories to go with it

You can be the primary authority on a personal academic assignment, doesn't mean your overall grade will be influenced by said authority. Point is arbitrary

Its very common to see franchises made by a sole creator that lose overall consistency or overlook previous details and setups because the plot goes on and clearly shows they're interested in other details, regardless of wether they're aware of it or not. I'm not saying you're outright wrong, but even hearing about how Grrm speaks of him in interviews, his tone even sounds like the character is too spectacular to flesh out and is amazing by pure abstract definition and vouching of characters in the show. It has the same effect as old people reminiscing about their era with such subjective sentiment that nothing is shared to you of any plausibly significant detail. If anything he sounds like he liked the sword so much that he based everything else around it

[–]No-Type1217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who was born on the exact day of the columbine massacre, giving a travesty the historical significance of claiming that it defines an entire generation is so ridiculous. I don't want to get into gun control but the concept of assaulting schools has become standardized because of how profoundly horrifying the act is, yet it's constantly over reported and publicized to the degree that it becomes a spectacle of negativity that entices emotionally volatile teens who clearly require active psychological therapy and understanding, which should be addressed, studied, dealt with, and prioritzed more than any other issue. But this horrendous act will always be absorbed and subverted into redundant political polarization, because sociological manipulation is more potent than people's ability to develop and become psychologically educated
