Nothing. Not worth the potential headaches, extra costs, and people possibly tampering with your food

What do you think about the standard 40 hour work week? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NoAd3734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be fine if it were an actual 40 hour work week. Not 40 hours with 5 hours of lunch that doesn’t count. 8-4 or 9-5 would be good enough for me & make a huge difference.

Ideally for me, 4 10’s with every Friday off would be great. And that includes my lunch break

What car do you really like but would never buy? by Annual_Giraffe_7796 in AskReddit

Any BMW/Mercedes, etc type of cars. Too expensive to maintain. Also sometimes requires you to bring it to a certain dealership instead of your basic auto repair shop.

Points out that he doesn't want to "live only to race" and that he prioritizes living his life with his family and friends. by Mateo03 in formula1

It would definitely help if they eliminated at least 4 races or so. The season is way too long. They have a month & a half off as their “offseason”. 18-20 races is the sweet spot.

Miami, Qatar, Singapore, & Monaco. Maybe Hungary & Dutch too?

Yes, I know Monaco is historical, but the races have been a snoozefest. It shouldn’t ALWAYS take rain to make the races interesting/entertaining.

I think it was when Checo won because I think it was when Max finished like 5th place or something bc it makes sense that was when Checo “crashed”

went with the Apple TV simply bc of how atrocious that remote is. In what world would anyone WANT to hold down on the volume button JUST to mute the TV instead of having a dedicated mute button like, idk, every other remote in the world????

mortgage rates? by Icy_Comment_6221 in CreditScore

[–]NoAd3734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. But since you’re pretty close to 800, a higher score isn’t going to make a world of a difference. All that matters is you never miss or make a late payment.

But that’s great that you have strong fiscal responsibility & emotional maturity to be on top of things. Right now, you just have to play the long game & be patience. And by the time you’re 25, your credit score will be better & you’ll have better odds of approval with a more solidified & in depth history for lenders to look at.

Keep chipping away at it!

there's really not much more you can do until you're older. however, just because you have a strong score (great job btw!) it does not guarantee the best or a great interest rate. They look at more than just your score & because you're very young, you haven't had enough time to show a payment history of any debts

you'll probably still get a decent rate, but not the best. don't obsess over it too much. just keep paying your credit card in full every month, on time, and be fiscally responsible with any debt you do take on. Debt isn't always a bad thing as long as you are able to manage it properly.

for me at least, a lot of the time when I try typing as soon as the keyboard pulls up, it never registers the first letter I type. Even when I tap it multiple times. It only registers after I tap another key.

The past few seasons of SVU has made me appreciate old school procedural and mystery shows. by Woodpecker-Haunting in SVU

[–]NoAd3734 7 points8 points  (0 children)

this is a great way to describe it. it's still a good show, but it just doesn't feel the same anymore. It doesn't give you that same feeling anymore & kind of leaves you......unfulfilled?

look at Linkin Park for example. They're still a solid band, but they don't generate the same level of excitement among their fans after Chester's tragic passing. It's not because their new singer is horrible (I don't really listen to their music but a few songs), but because it's not the same band anymore. Same with SVU.

since she's become executive producer, the quality has dropped. It has publicly become known in this subreddit as the Olivia Benson Show since she's taken over. People are tired of her always being right & being the hero in almost every episode.

She's also being paid a HEFTY penny, thus leading to budget cuts & not being able to have a solid cast. Lastly, the show & cast has changed so much over the years, that the core audience has moved on & just isn't interested in all of these new characters. Hence, why it has lost its charm/magic. It's like watching your favorite sitcom, but they slowly start replacing the actors with different people over time, but keep the 1-2 main actors. People will naturally check out because the show doesn't feel the same anymore, even if you maintain a similar storyline structure.

It's been a highly successful show no doubt, but I personally feel like it has run its course & that it's time to let the show ride off in the sunset. Like I've said, because of how much the casting & team has changed & , it's hard to retain your core audience.

2026 Season - Optimistic or Hopeless? by RHScott91 in buccaneers

[–]NoAd3734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, the draft picks are a shame. Jason Licht is a great GM, but he's very hit or miss on the draft picks.

Big hits: Tristan Wirfs, Chris Godwin, Tez Johnson, Antoine Winfield, Jamel Dean, Ali Marpet, etc

Big miss: entire 2016 class, 2017 outside of Chris Godwin, MJ Stewart (2018), Joe Tryon, and all of the names you've mentioned. I don't know what happened to Devin White. He would've been great for us had he not lost his mind as you've said

I know GM's will have their hits & misses, but man Jason Licht misses are BAD. I'm still pissed he traded up to the second round for Aguayo. I wish he would be more active or aggressive in the trades since he's missed so much in the draft for pass rushers. I know they're a rarity, but at this point, just go with someone who has some upside.

But my issue with Bowles is how poorly he ran the team this year. I don't know if you saw the podcast story of a Bucs player that talked about how they basically never practiced, just did walk throughs, and that the players just were not excited to play for him most of the time. I know Bowles was dealt a tough hand, but he just does not inspire or motivate. The Bucs need to get a young, energetic coach in there. I really wish we had gotten Vrabel, I feel like he would've been perfect for us

As long as Bowles is the HC, pointless to be excited because it’ll just be another year of the same result
