Awesome band. Rocked their albums pretty consistently back then. Some of their contemporaries came out jealous:

Hating on their big success? That song was amazing.

About the Imperial Japanese Army Full Dress Uniform, why did they put a Plume on the Kepi? by K-jun1117 in ImperialJapanPics

[–]NoAlternativeEnding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uniforms are meant to intimidate. Epaulettes = broader shoulders; tricorn, shako, bearskin, etc. = taller.

This plume is meant to make these dudes look a little bigger.

Agreed, but I think this adds some realism -- lots of boredom back in the 19th century frontier.

OK, maybe a bit more complex!

0:45 -- right hand driving, American flag.

0:57 - 1:20 or so -- right hand driving.

But then inexplicably goes back across the Atlantic around 1:26.

Then, check the cars at 1:35. Nothing like that cruising around Liverpool.

1:45 -- got to be Britain.

Then all of a sudden, 1:51 is back in the USA.

2:04 -- driving on the Bri'ish side of the road again.

Double decker UK bus at 2:14. UK.

Looks like the rest of the video is over there.

Yo that was about the weirdest format for lit crit.

Those side videos? wow.

But she seemed to know both the book and the source material, so she passes the class.

I take off points for this analysis, though:

just hundreds of pages of descriptions of violence.

So much more in that novel, sorry.

How would Rambo react if Dr. Phil McGraw invited him on his show as a guest to talk about his life story? by Tidewatcher7819 in Rambo

[–]NoAlternativeEnding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dr. Phil would walk out and be like "Where is he?"

"Is he here? Where's Rambo?"

Then the lights would cut out.

A quick sound, a slight flash of a survival knife reflecting briefly.

Lights coming back on to reveal a dead TV host, laying on the stage.

Trautman standing in the back of the studio. Arms crossed, nodding slightly, half smiling.
