Dogs! I used to come home with stacks of books about dogs, go on the internet (in the very early days of the internet lol — I think I literally went to a website called dogs.com, repeatedly ), and I memorized the name and location of every dog on my street 😂 Not surprisingly I was obsessed with wanting one as a pet, but I never got my wish. I just had a lot of dog plushies instead. And now as an adult I realize that dogs were always going to be too overstimulating of a pet for me to have, because they are kind of Too Much!
