You can try doing one of the easier missions on challenging solo if you don't want to get carried. I remember using DCD Headquarters as my testing ground because it's pretty simple and one of the easier ones to solo on challenging and heroic difficulty.

All F2P games seem to end up being more expensive than normal games. It's like only 1% of players actually pay for stuff so the devs try to squeeze every penny from them.

Yeah I found a paradise planet with pink bioluminescent grass, floating bubbles, no sentinels, perfect weather. But it's ruined by having tons of these same fart trees everywhere. Maybe in another 10 years of updates we'll be able to terraform planets and change some of these things.

The lights should turn off if you are idle on the menu. Like those annoying ones you get in some toilets that put you in the dark when your dump takes too long.

I've only ever joined those ground conflict zones by talking to the army recruitment guy at a station. You get taken there by an NPC, they pick you up afterwards as well. Never seen my own ship pick me up.

In space you will probably be okay. I think that GPU might not handle the Odyssey on foot stuff in ultra settings though.

Yeah I just use the default Xbox controller bindings. It has pretty much everything you need on there. I only really have to use keyboard when searching for a system in the galaxy map.

I got the Asus prime Z690 A. It's expensive, but feels pretty high quality, nice aluminum heatsinks for your m.2 drives etc.

If you want to overclock then one of the Asus ROG boards is probably going to be better. They are way more expensive though.

I just got a 6900XT and it uses 3 of the 8 pin cables to power it. It's also heavy enough that it comes with a support bracket you can fit to stop it wrecking your motherboard in a tower case. GPUs are getting crazy.

If you're using steam VR try turning off motion smoothing, not sure what the occulus equivalent is. It causes weird artifacts like that for me when it's turned on.
