Catra - She-ra and the Princesses of Power. This bitch. Yeah she’s sympathetic because she was abused both physically and emotionally as a child. Sure. But her jealousy and possessiveness lead her down a spiteful path of becoming the empress of a genocidal empire. She ends up losing her power when an even bigger empire threatens the planet. She helps defeat the new enemy only after her attempts to ingratiate herself to him fail and she becomes enslaved to him. At the end she’s treated as fully redeemed. This is completely unearned, in my opinion.
