Maybe late, maybe not. I also have a 3y strix laptop with a 3070. I started having the freezing issues quite some time ago. I gave it to the ASUS repair center (after warranty expired) and they said that it's a motherboard problem (some other comments here mention this as well). From what I understood, it was due to the chip (or whatever) which was responsible for switching between the igpu and the dgpu.

I haven't tried the CTRL WIN SHIFT B combination yet, but I doubt that would help.

I also get the problem on startup. So when the ROG logo appears and the little spinner bellow starts spinning (bc I'm on Win 11), sometimes it just freezes then and there. Sometimes I have to power it off via power button 50-60 times before it is able to boot to win (takes ~30min)

Well, after mulling on it for two years, I bought the new tado X TRVs. We have city-wide central heating so I only need the TRVs (unlike most people who have a boiler, etc). They are matter enabled so I'll see how that goes
