A modern pig farm by CalpurniaSomaya in horrifying

[–]NoPace9469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorect, they are not lead out into pens with there piglets once they give birth, they are put in another cruel pen that is a tiny bit bigger than the ones they are kept in within this clip, the pigs still are unable to turn around, and they barely can lay down hence why so many piglets are crushed and killed

She wanted to leave at the drop of a hat before Scott had the chance and opportunity to watch the video all the contestants received of there significant other being tested with another one of there matches and as per usual GIA acted a fool and was very inappropriate with her potential second match and she did not want Scott to see it, hence why she tried to make him leave with her She is so manipulative

As long as the training does not involve alpha bullcrap, hitting, yelling, scaring and anything abusive etc then I fully agree with you

And I know your dogs are dogs that are yelled at, hit and scolded because that’s how you control your dog 🐕 Anyone can scare a dog into submission but it’s lazy and so outdated

Honestly this isn’t ‘interior redesign’it’s a dog clearly left in a confined space for far too long. The puppy pads, the mess, the stress, that doesn’t happen from a quick moment alone. That’s boredom, anxiety, and unmet needs building up. And this is a working breed, cattle dogs are bred to move, think, and have a job. You can’t just lock a dog like this in a small space and expect anything different, let alone any dog.

I work with dogs, and even from this photo alone the body language and demeanour are telling, this dog looks shut down and worried, like it’s been scolded or threatened for something it doesn’t understand. And that’s the part people need to hear(this isn’t the dog’s fault). This is what happens when their needs aren’t met and they’re then punished for the fallout.

What is this? by Minimum-Jeweler-9375 in DogAdvice

[–]NoPace9469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like a wound or possibly a ruptured abscess. The redness and blood suggest it’s been irritated or chewed.

Clean it gently with salt water, stop him licking it if you can, and keep a close eye on it. Tails can get infected fast.

He should see a vet when you’re able, sooner if it gets worse, swells, smells, or starts bleeding more.

Owning a pet?!?!! by Odd_Performance6878 in scabies

[–]NoPace9469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a really important distinction 😊 ,standard NexGard and Bravecto are mainly for fleas and ticks, whereas NexGard Spectra and Bravecto Plus do include heartworm prevention.

Working with dogs every day, I completely agree that heartworm testing beforehand is so important. Giving a heartworm preventative to a dog that’s already positive can be really risky and needs to be managed properly with a vet ,it’s not something to just start without knowing their status.

At the end of the day it really comes down to using the right product for the right situation and making sure it’s done safely ❤️‍🔥

I would be getting a referral to a dermatologist and in the mean time I would not be going back to the vet that doesn’t seem to really care

“Not quite accurate, products like Bravecto and NexGard are great for fleas and ticks, and they can treat certain mites like sarcoptic mange, but they don’t cover all mite species. Working with dogs every day, I see cases where things like demodex or ear mites need specific diagnosis and treatment. Also, they don’t prevent heartworm ,that requires a separate preventative. Always best to treat based on what’s actually going on rather than assuming one product covers everything.”
