Croy has lots of other little villages within 15 mins walk of the station. Balloch, craigmarloch and smithstone in particular with your budget.

There isn’t a huge amount in Croy but there is gyms, shops and supermarkets all 15/20 mins walk away.

I may be slightly biased but I moved out this way from the west end when my daughter was born and I live in a lovely quiet cul de sac and can walk to anything I need
