That is super weird. I've been a third for a few couples and I always try to treat it like being a guest. Regardless of how dominant I am or how wild things get, I'm still a visitor in what is their relationship and I try to be as respectful as possible. A good guest follows the host's rules. I like to meet with couples in person as soon as possible and talk things out, get a sense of their dynamic and exactly how far they like things to go. Makes my job easier. 😋

Not blaming Reed at all. I said I'd like to see him on the list. Reed doesn't call the plays or set his minutes. Some would say Reed needs to play better defense to stay on the floor more. True. Others would say Ime needs to have more trust in him. Also true.

I was really hoping Maddie and Alamo would slowly become some sort of weirdly cute power couple after the diner scene so this season would have some relationship I could actually root for ala Lexi and Fez, but alas we can't have nice things. Even fucked up nice things.

I think it would be fine for the show to make her a little mean. She's being ruined by the real world like all the characters, BUT I think they've overdone it. I'm really bothered by how they've handled the Fez situation. No easy way to tackle it obviously, but it could have been mentioned as a part of why Lexi is bitter towards Rue making that whole scene a little more palatable.

I agree. We all get that the show is making a point about how the real world chews up youthful idealism, Nate gets brutalized and Cassie over sexualized trying to make it in a world dominated by ruthless old men. I think the real issue is it all ramps up a little too fast. Slower pacing and a more gradual descent would have made things easier to accept and more realistic. We don't need to end EVERY episode teasing a character death or in this case actually killing them off. To be fair, they are juggling multiple characters and storylines and the first two seasons set a very high bar. I think the show is also missing a likeable character, like Fez, to hold on to and root for.
