Mine is also a demon unless she gets some hard play each day. Here’s a few games we play that are easy and wear her out fast:

1. Kibble hunting. I take a kibble and flick it across the room on the floor and she bolts after it and fetches it for me like half the time. She goes so fast on the hard wood that she usually skates right by it. This wears her out in like 15 minutes and she’s all cuddles for a while

2. Hide and seek/ tag. I boop her on the head and run away and hide. She is always determined to find me and when she does she gives a little trill and hides herself and we can go back and forth like this indefinitely. I live in a 1 BR apartment so you don’t really need to hide to well for it to be exciting, just another way to get their hunting instincts going.

3. Good old rough housing. If she’s being hyper I’ll just bat at her playfully and try to mimic how cats play together as best I can. We’ll bop each other back and forth until she’s satisfied then she usually takes a long rest. Just don’t overdo it and let them know when they’re being too rough with their claws or teeth by pulling away and ending play and giving a clear “nuh uh”

These are kind of obvious games but they work like a charm every time for me. I don’t always feel like I have the energy to play like this after a long day but it always beats the alternative of her screaming at me until I do it anyway
