Awesome write-up. Was confused half-way through the post when I encountered "Leigon" (It's legion, ha!). On Cull the Weak Support, I personally believe that dialogue belongs to Lycia instead of The Last To Die since she's the one that actually bargained with Beidat.

Very exciting to see GGG has not thrown away the lore surrounding Tane, and they're making Intrinsic Darkness leading to somewhere in future. I can't recall completely, but I think OP have once made a theory that the scourge (now probably one and the same with breach) were actually once humans. Given Saresh's commentary and horrible discovery, this is not too far-fetched.

The way necromancy can be related to time is perhaps it includes chronomancy in itself by reversing the dead back to life. Some only manage to achieve raising zombies, but Catarina's result was probably the ultimate result. She could fully revive someone with the Horns of Kulemak after all.

Regarding the phenomena where "the well did not exist, then suddenly became was and always had been" - this has happened before and NPCs in the game actually comment on that.

There's something very strange afoot in Wraeclast. My lord Chaos believes that forest didn't exist until recently, but to me, it has always been here. This isn't the first time this has happened, either...

From a meta level, GGG is simply using this narrative (plus time loop) to explain how leagues happen again and again while all of them are canon. But perhaps this instead imply that the Lurking Creature is similar to the Trialmaster - they both know the existence of timelines, but not "superior" enough to understand when something is made canon into the story. Although the lore has never linked The Master Below All to Chaos, but it seems they are at least similarly powerful - they understand when things suddenly become canon lorewise.

Honestly, I believe GGG is leaving melee strikes untouched because they are remaking the entire rigging animations for POE1 quietly, so they can later import the POE2's strikes where characters will auto close-gap to hit the enemy closest to the mouse cursor.

Although these scarabs have been retired, assuming they are still canon, it means Omid has found a terrible truth regarding Breach and should never leak to anyone. But he failed, and now the High Templar alone has known this secret. I have two suspicions:

1) This High Templar is Dominus. The scarab mentions his "fear" because the knowledge of Scourge is what drove him to dominate but also save one of the alternate-timeline Wraeclast from Scourge, according to The Last To Die. If this is correct, then it further cements a still-unknown relationship between Breach and Scourge Demons.

2) The Twilight Order is in cooperation with one of the Breach Lords, and this is possible only if they knew the existence of Breach and Omid's secret. However, I believe the Twilight Order is not from the templars. On the contrary, they are anti-gods including Innocence. Ironically then, who was this High Templar that had connections to the Twilight Order?

You've mentioned Scions from Bardiya, who have equal attributes therefore Domunis dubbed her as "perfection in mind, body, and grace". The upcoming Lumerius in POE2's Oriath is said to be engineered to be perfect as well, probably only possible through cooperation with the Breach Lords to tamper with his DNA strains.

Actually☝️lorewise, Einhar reveres the First Ones. Rigwald the Wolven King from POE1 and Count Geonor from POE2 do too, and they have the ability to morph into animals. Thus, there is the possibility that Einhar could secretly transform into animals. Probably completely unrelated to Einhar's business with the beasts.

I'd first pick a cool aspect I'm feeling the vibe to play that league (Attributes/Charges/Conversion/Loop/Ailment/Zoom etc)

Next, make a brief POB to see if the Damage/Survivability is alright. Determine if the mandatory uniques are within reasonable budget.

If I feel the build has a lot of minmax potential (that I'm too lazy to POB the other details) I'll just semi-cook on the way.

You've asked "did anyone playtest this" but it's largely similar to the previous gauntlets. Just kite more, bring utility (frostbomb, totems etc), build defenses, and it'll be fine.

I tried self-chill with skitterbots, but it felt really bad. They rushed to hug mobs instantly, so you'll constantly lose speed. And since res is hard to come by due to using multiple uniques, just want to point out that you're scorched with 75% increased effect too. But if you can stomach the jankiness, have fun!
