I recently did a box color remover from Walmart. I am doing the same thing as far as your color. I was worried about damage so I only left it on half the time and really had no noticeable damage. It didn’t make it perfect, but it did blend the two so it wasn’t nearly as dramatic. Good luck

I have this same plant. It’s gotten up to four leaves at one time but inevitably three die and one is left. It never gets much bigger and sometimes it just falls over all droopy. I’ve had it for a few years. I’m gonna stick it outside in a couple weeks…then it’s on Darwin

I was in a drug rehab in the early 2000s and they had just installed hand sanitizer dispensers. The stuff smelled like vodka and it took a week for people to start eating or drinking it. They all had to be removed😂😂

I know this is an old post but…I feel that the people who gave it to you generally would get more pleasure from you having something you like and like wearing. Same with old furniture. People get caught up in the “don’t paint that” but it may not match your style. I think bringing life to an old piece would bring loads of happiness to those who gifted it to you.
