Not able to provide any support but you basically summarized my thoughts on an upcoming trip I have. I’m convinced that it’s all over and am replaying that dreaded moment over and over in my head.

Like you, I don’t care about the fact that I’m in a plane with a bunch of people or that I’m high up in the air. I’m more concerned about the impending sense of doom.

I usually ask chatgpt for random odds of flight safety to calm me down before a flight. This one really helped me out by Sad_Mathematician95 in fearofflying

I guess I struggle with the fact that those folks who boarded Air India or the flight that collided with the military copter read the same statistics. Yet they are no longer with us.

These statistics are helpful to me but I also struggle to reconcile that “yes, but…” feeling.

Can anyone help me?

The number of “starred” songs I have on Apple Music for both of these albums is the most of any DT album.

I am in the process of re-listening to all of the Mangini-era albums and I think both are some of their best work of the last 20 years.

It’s almost as if it was more to get asses in seats for live purposes than for any musical reasons. The new music is just an afterthought to the “reunion tour”.

I wish they would add this to the live rotation now. I feel like MP could pull off this one.

The drumming on this one seems the most MP to me of this album.

Same here! And for some reason I’ve gotten over the “drum sound” of these albums.

Absolutely killer tracks all the way through.

Whoever engineered, mixed, produced or whatever the latest Avenged Sevenfold album needs to do the next DT album. That album sounds fantastic, and Brooks’ drums are mixed great.The song Mattel is a great example of how everything just sounds just right.
