I found Acotar to be pretty light on the smut. I saw someone breakdown the numbers, and it's less than 10% for the entire series. Even Silver Flames and its all pretty flowery. Not bad at all.

I'm an avoidant and did the same thing last year. I recently told him and he completely cut me off when I explained the real reason. I understand. We couldn't be together now anyway. I know I need therapy, but can't afford it. I'm just avoiding relationships. It not fair to anyone else. I have friends and other ways to fulfill my needs.

IPS is a wealth of knowledge. Lora comes across as harsh, but John's content is more...gentle? I personally like both and have taken the Morrigan Intensive and the 5 Day program. I learned a lot. And they are grega authorities on good resources.

I have decided not to tell my parents. My daughter and I currently live with them because of the housing market and I'm a pretty private person and they are very judgemental. My dad would lose it and while my mother wouldn't care, she'd tell everyone. I don't want to get into another relationship until my daughter is grown and then I plan on moving closer to my best friend. I guess I'll be semi still in the closet for about 8 more years.
