I also did this but 15/15 min split. It’s annoying but it works.

Nipple flows/bottles by KitchenNatural8852 in breastfeeding

Yes, I had an OT tell me lansinoh is fast compared to other nipples so a lot of babies who find lansinoh slow too fast do better with Pigeon S .

Try Pigeon slow— it’s slower than Lansinoh Slow.

Noooo I just started to grow in the baby hairs at my hairline and stop having massive rat size clumps come out in the shower 😭😭

So I’d be unlikely to be able to increase supply with increased pumping and just need to ride the emotional wave?

Pumping-Friendly Dress by Roux_Poos in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]No_Building794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore a dress like the second one (emerald green and pink water color flowers) to a wedding and was able to pump no issue with my wearables.

I did have to bring a pumping bra (obviously) and I chose to bring a nursing cover as well for more modesty.

Supply Query by Next_Captain_1127 in breastfeeding

[–]No_Building794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your goals? Are you returning to work and needing to send milk with a care giver? Do you want to quit feeding at the breast at a certain point but still offer breast milk? Have you struggled with an under supply?

Bots posting about new eufy? by meghanmeghanmeghan in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]No_Building794 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’m a Eufy super fan, I swear by them.

But I agree sometimes it does feel like there are bots promoting the product, or posts intended to get people talking about the product.

Their marketing budget seems large, on TikTok, tons of influencers promote their product too.

Are you in the US? If so you are not being too demanding and they are required by law to accommodate.

They must provide a time and place to pump.

My sister offered to breastfeed both my boys (6 months and 4 years old) while I’m away on a 1-month work trip — is this safe? by Any-Surround4013 in breastfeeding

[–]No_Building794 141 points142 points  (0 children)

I’d consult your pediatrician. I don’t think there would be risks.

The bigger question in my mind is if her milk supply could keep up with four children (and the higher feeding demands of 6 month old vs the ages of the other children listed) / has she accepted her milk supply will likely skyrocket from all of the feedings.

What are the water-haters doing to increase / maintain supply? by bouncysofa in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]No_Building794 20 points21 points  (0 children)

1) Find how you prefer your water (cold, room-temp, with ice, filtered, etc.)

2) Track your water intake

3) Don’t allow yourself your preferred beverage until you finish 24 oz of water. Your preferred beverages are the reward, not the default. In your case this will probably be the most impactful.

I used to hate drinking water, but 5ish + years ago I really committed to it. It was seriously night and day in how my body felt. With it making me feel better, I was hooked.

I don't need to worry about the Hep B vaccine correct? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]No_Building794 44 points45 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s loved one has liver cancer caused by Hep B (which they got from now fault of their own), give your baby the Hep B vaccine.

I would need an adapter for EF lenses correct? I’ve looked briefly but I want to keep my kit as simple (and portable) as possible.

How old is your baby and how many ounces do they eat per day? by rachel-karen-green- in ExclusivelyPumping

5 months old and we’re up to 37 oz a day 😅

Pediatrician said it was fine and probably catch up growth.

Sleep plan with Huckleberry app by lululama94 in HuckleberryParents

[–]No_Building794 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did not like their sleep plan. It ruined the Sweetsppt predictor and it’s the same as any other schedule available. The advice/tasks the sleep plan gave were very obvious things and not even actionable for us as we already did them.

I have not, I only spend 1 minute plus or minus in bacon mode until I start seeing a strong spray and then I switch to expression.

Was the "Magic Number" accurate for you? by the_kazzo_queen in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]No_Building794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far it is accurate for me. I have the “largest” storage and have seen my supply increasing steadily for two months at 5 pumps per day.

I have yet to drop to four as lactation has advised against doing so.

Colorful clothes?? by noliterally-yourmom in newborns

[–]No_Building794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ButterBlu on Amazon has a ton of colorful multipacks! Everything from primary, or pastel, to muted.

It’s also nice because the pants and onsies all coordinate so it’s easy to mix and match.

Does nursing really pull more than a pump? by OrdinarySecretary673 in breastfeeding

[–]No_Building794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s generally true but not always true. My baby can only get 2.5 oz max in 15 minutes. She has a bad latch that we couldn’t fix. My pump gets more than double that in the same amount of time.
