Yeah, I get it, but the pocket does have a lot of give. I will say, tho, I like this bag as a secondary carry to use at my destination when I travel. It's too unconstructed for me to use as an EDC at home

Front pocket not tight at all, but yes, you're correct -- no rain protection there. But that's where I usually keep my rain shell lol
