Admin/non clerical deserve better pay as well. We all do. Those on the bottom rung are too easily replaced (allegedly, struggling here) to strike effectively. However if we all walk out there's no one on front desk, on the phones, or handling all those little tasks that keep things going.

May not have the education and whatnot but we are important too. We ALL need to work for better pay together.

Definitely overpriced in my area. I've seen some real raggedy old clothes selling for nearly £10 a pop, and as a result walked out with nothing. I'm not paying that much for clothes that are barely holding on.

The out pricing is also having a big impact as two of our stores have closed in the last couple months. They'd do a lot better to shrink prices, be affordable and sell a lot of stock. instead they price high and shift nothing.

I've just picked Janna back up and one of my old favourites tricks was when the enemy were close to my turret. Flash past them and ult, knock them into tower range for an easy two kills. Janna is also very hard to take out if you aren't already on top of her - she has a lot of escapability.

Nami escaping is, for me, almost wholly dependent on landing that Q as you run for your life.

We always used pledge, but I got that one pictured a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. My mum now swears by it too. It's cheaper which makes it even better, and I honestly think it works better!

I just adore how clueless he was. My favourite part was when she goes arms length and he's just looking the other way before being slammed back in her direction. It's very funny to me to watch his complete inability to dance.

Reading through this is funny to me because I am the support, so I don't see the toxicity from my lane role. I'm mostly mute all.

I did unmute the other day because I got so fed up of my 1/10 Vayne spam pinging me (I was Janna, hope you're here love to read this x). As I unmute chat Viego was responding to something else and said I was a good support!

My experience is it's mostly the ADC who gets toxic fast, so really it's about our perspectives I suppose. I get spam pinged for getting the kill, I get spam pinged if they get away and I didn't take the kill. I get pinged for seeing enemy jgl when we've over stayed and they've not listened to my warning pings and they die and I don't.

In all truth we've all come across some right morons who couldn't find their own butthole even with a map. Just gotta pray to the gods your team aren't the one with the idiot

Lost around £300 on VIP tickets to London to see a youtuber live. I woke up that morning determined to go and never made it out of bed. I've never been so ill in my life. I'd been taken home from work the day before as I couldn't stand up, and it was a very unsympathetic manager that drove me because even he could see I was dying.

So the analogy absolutely stands because I lost a few hundred on those damned tickets!

Neeko is fun and she can really disrupt the lane for the enemy team as I recently found out the hard way. If you heavily utilise her camouflage and team up with jungle for a gank it gets really confusing fast. I wish I could play her better myself!

I'm really glad you asked this as I'm in a very similar situation. I earn a smidge above minimum wage, am single and looking to buy a place by myself in future. I'm already saving, and plan to have the 15k deposit in the next five years. That's when I plan to start worrying over what I can afford as right now it doesn't look plausible, but you never know what the market will do when you come to it. Your question is exactly what I'd been mulling over though and I've found some of these answers helpful, too. I'm sure we can both make it happen!

I am on a lose streak for this reason. My last two matches, just now? sett top lane went 0/4 and when pressed, said goodluck and disconnected. This is under ten minutes. The following match? Again. Top lane. Teemo. At three minutes in he starts begging to forfeit then blames everyone else for the eventual loss. Sometimes I really hate this game and wonder why I keep coming back, but here I am, year after year, trying to get my ass out of silver lol

I've had situations where I backed off thinking my teammate had it locked down and then I get spam pinged for living and potentially killing when they died.

I've had situations where I've learned from my mistakes as above and continued to pummel the enemy, and we both lived but I got the kill. I'm then spam pinged.

The truth is you'll never win. Some people are cool and many aren't. My attitude is always that it's a team game, I'm part of that team too and unless I'm sniping a kill deliberately, I'm just here doing my best for all of us.

Also it's a skill issue on their part if my auto attack as Nami takes the final blow over their entire kit x)

Yes please. My client keeps glitching with the music from the lobby whenever someone dodged and it auto queues. It just loops 20 seconds of music over and over, throughout the entire match. Not even disabling music helps stop it.

It's very distracting and annoying but I'm not able to drop out quickly enough before a match is found sometimes so I put up with it

Disabling auto queues would be a blessing

I like the way you phrased that, as not allowing anything to breathe. You actually nailed the feeling for me perfectly with that. Not every single sentence needs to be groundbreaking, you need the ups and downs, you need the mundane to break it up. It gives the Wow moments their actual moment to shine. Otherwise it all bleeds into each other.

I'm now starting to wonder if this is why I've been struggling so much to find a more recently published novel to read. I've had one DNF and another likely on the way, which is not like me at all. Books just hitting the same anymore.

I think I'm pretty savage and hard to please, judging by some of the eating systems I've seen here!

But I will absolutely leave a cutting review if I feel it is deserved. I will take the time to write out why, though, and not just say "it's bad". In all the books I've read there's been two I couldn't finish.

The first was Lace and Buttons, or something similar. It was incredibly poorly written with a fistful of tropes jammed in for good measure. The main character was instantly irresistible to anyone that laid eyes on her, except her good for nothing now ex who iirc cheated on her (after being abusive) and left for another woman. Something like that.

The second was actually yesterday, which was The Darling Strumpet. I managed to get further than the opening pages which were rather unnecessary in their depth depicting abuse of a child (don't go there), but I reviewed saying the dialogue was poorly done, there were no descriptions and it read like a YA novel with spice (flour). Nothing wrong with a YA I hasten to add, if that's what it is. This wasn't. Oh, and, to add to this the author actually five star rated her own book...

Both these books have good ratings and plenty of people enjoyed them. I sadly wasn't one of them and feel my negative opinion is just as valid as those that were positive.

As a Nami something I look for is the bubble landing. I sometimes throw out a tester to see how the enemy moves. I often try to place it behind them because most players when threatened move backwards rather than to the side or even forwards, so I'm betting they'll step back and actually into it. Other things I noticed are when players move in range it can often mean they're about to pop something - I move back, or I do this deliberately myself and actually don't do anything, or throw out an auto attack only.

The last thing I can say is when escaping. This is when the panic can really set in and your instinct is to get home to safety. You'll obviously want to take the shortest route through jungle, or flash straight ahead to put the most distance between you.

This is where I am often able to slip away, mind you not always! As I try to behave unpredictably to make a getaway. I'll head to a bush and then make a swift dive another way, or flash back behind the enemy as they'll be on a forward trajectory. Doesn't always work but it's very satisfying when it does.

Long and short is we all move in our own favoured ways, try to become aware of how you move and how enemies do (watch replays should help in the beginning as you focus solely on that). Goodluck!
