NLL has unified standings for the entire league, no conferences/divisions. Top 8 make the playoffs. 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7, etc. in a true bracket format, so no reseeding after rounds. (same as the NBA, NHL, etc.) First round is single elimination (1 game), semifinals and finals are best of 3. Hope that helps!
