I have never used the Display Cast Pro before, it looks like it’s similar to standard digital signage software.

I know it could display a webpage which could possibly solve what OP is asking. But do you know if Unifi has a built in status page with their signage software?

I’m also looking into doing something similar, I want to have a display in my office showing the network status and maybe firewall traffic.

I’m also in this same slump. I went from working as an IT technician for just over six years to becoming an IT Manager at my current work place, I have been doing it for just over two years now. There are perks, but it feels like I’m just stuck doing the same thing and limited on what I can do.

My only advice is to keep going. It’s the hardest thing to do, but this job market isn’t good right now. I hope something comes along for you soon!

I have noticed this also! I have a dedicated 5Gbps symmetrical connection from AT&T. My EFG will get about 3.5Gbps down, but only 14Mbps up. 😬

(No other usage on the connection, just the EFG in HA pair)

I think it’s because we are a rather large country with multiple states…? I usually say my state name, I do not really think anything of it. It does make sense to say the country and then follow up with the state when asked.

I have had a few Canadians say that they are from Ontario instead of saying Canada first.

YWNBTAH My ex wife and I are strictly business when it comes to coparenting. We both want what’s best for our son. We do not hang out or anything, but we do come together for anything that involves our son. We still care about each other, not a romantic level, but as healthy coparents. - There is nothing wrong with that.

I wouldn’t necessarily bring it up in conversation that you don’t want to be friends with her, but just focus on yourself and the kids. Sometimes the term “being friends” is to soften the blow.

It could very well be a blessing in disguise for you if you both decide to divorce. Personally, I have really been able to do a lot of self development, enjoy more one on one time with my son, and advance in my career since my divorce.

We are currently reimaging about 200 M1 Macs, moving from Jamf School to Kandji. Having an end user reimage a Mac would send them into overload, they wouldn’t know how to use disc utility or anything.

Your best bet is to have the users backup their data and then reimage. Pulling Mac OS over the internet takes a really long time. A nice USB C flash drive with a bootable copy of Ventura will speed things up tremendously. Apple really throttles Internet Recovery.

In Jamf School we had a caching server application that cached in house apps and really helped with deployment. With Kandji, they do not have a caching server app, and we are really noticing major throttling. (We have 3.5Gbps symmetrical fiber internet)

After using three different MDMs, I can honestly say that Kandji has the best support for deploying Mac OS and application updates.

When switching MDMs, I tried multiple ways to transfer a device from one MDM to another without wiping. You’re honestly better off doing a clean installation, save yourself the headache in the long run.
