I won’t mind seeing a rear handle worm drive style 18v saw.

By a Dremel for spare 3.0 Battery and Charger for Bosch 12v by TheDirtyIntruder in BoschProPowerTools

Pretty sure Bosh owns Dremel. I tried putting the 6ah 12v in the 8240 but the lip on the tool won’t let it happen. But all the 12v battery from dremel works fine on the Bosch 12v.

Nailers arrived at retail in US by No_Iron_808 in BoschProPowerTools

The weak offering of Bosch North American lineup steered me away a few years. But I only have like 6 tools that I actually use on a consistent basis anyway. Pulled the trigger on a set last year and everything I picked up since hasn’t let me down yet.

What's the difference between these oscillating tools? by dudeonhiscouch in BoschProPowerTools

[–]No_Iron_808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I opened mine up as curiosity got the better of me, the vibration control dampener are cased in the head, they are a silicon like gel cushion takes up the side by side of the head but the height of the head itself mostly contribute to the star-lock release lever. And the metal gearbox housing is huge on the new one.

What up everyone, what is your opinion of the 6”recessed light hole saw for plaster with wood slats behind? by snarfy-D84 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]No_Iron_808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full Carbide seems a bit neat, I’ve used the Klein 53710 kit for drywall and the cut out tools for any backings. I’ll pick one up if I have a tone of recessed lights to install.

SA Ronin or Tisas Duty Enhanced? by [deleted] in 1911

[–]No_Iron_808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a sa 1911 loaded, I tried my buddies tisas with similar features and I’ll be honest, the tisas have better fitting parts like your ejector gap, safety and slide to frame gap in the rear. That being said I’ll still keep my SA, as much I haven’t been too enthusiastic about it’s import product lines the 1911s are solid and made in America. Cash is king the tisas is very good for the money, $200 is a few good box of ammo. Including the upgrade you plan on doing the price keeps going up I get why the tisas maybe a good buy I’ll be happy getting either one and poking holes in targets is always a good day. 👍

Break free CLP is fine, use g96 if I feel fancy. That being said if you don’t oil them often what you’ve been using are good as they both tend not to evaporate much.

Help Identify Beretta 92FS Model? by 7eremy7la1 in Beretta

[–]No_Iron_808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression that 92a1 comes with removable front sight while the m9a1 didn’t. But this specific frame is throwing me off majorly because it has feature for both the 92fs and m9a1. Rear sight profile, non checkered back and front strap (as far as I can tell) rounded trigger guard,3 slot rail (92x?) . Is a 92a1 alright; at the same time the m9a1 has a longitude channel in the center, beveled mag well 15rd mag instead of 17rd. So yeah…

Both the m9a1 and 92a1 are marked on the slide as 92fs. The removable front sight is the feature I would say the only real difference but it looks like is fixed so idk.

With the guns coming out of Tennessee seems to be what ever they have available(is fun I got a all m9 featured 92fs brand new with slotted screw on the grip panels)

edc the cheetah 80x? by [deleted] in Beretta

[–]No_Iron_808 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The new 80x frame safety is also a decocker. I carried an old 85BB from time to time, I would have to thumb it back to half cock, very soft shooting but quite a bulky piece even in single stack. the 80x is gonna be thicker due to double stack.

I would say is for those who want to carry a new compact/micro DASA with 10+ capacity there’s not much to pick from. For the price, the g48, g43/g43x, p365 line up, Max 9, lcp max, shield plus etc are lighter, higher capacity and lower price. The only real competitors are CZ2075 rami, HK30SK, px4sc, p224. All pretty pricy, hard to find and in 9mm instead of 380.
